It looks cute from the outside and nice views of the mountains. Some snacks provided, but only 2 coffee bags for 4 people. Fridge is not working properly and very loud. Airco is loud and need filter change. Toilet is leaking. Low water pressure.

The property is well maintained , clean and up to date. There is no on sight staff, and things are handled remotely.The room was clean, comfortable and stocked with snacks. It has a refrigerator and microwave. I would stay here again.

The room was very comfortable and clean. My only request would be for the winter months to provide an extra blanket. The heater took a while to properly heat up the room. I very much enjoyed my stay. Will be coming back soon!

Nearly immaculate room had very good lighting, was equipped with microwave and (gurgling) fridge. Also came with a surprising supply of gratis snacks -- and earplugs, which some may find useful for blocking the sound of trucks on 395. Adirondack chairs outside each of the 6 rooms contributed a welcoming touch. Note: this is a remotely operated motel with no staff on site. Also, for the price of a room, guests have a right to expect an ice machine. Shower head was uncomfortably low, while bath towels were of excellent quality. Oddly, hand towels were of only fair quality, and wash rags were so thin they might have come from Motel 6. Instead of snacks, how about bottled water?

Simple check in with code. Didn't need help but it was a text away. Snacks for morning good. Everything clean. Bathroom shower needed a bit of fixing. Possible noise from highway but we had ac running... they supply ear plugs just in case

A very clean hotel and room. Easy access from road with plenty of parking. We will definitely stay there again. It's great for a base for adventures into the mountains.

Nice curb appeal for a motel with 2 new android chairs, rose bushes and flowering shrubs. Basic bed with basic linens just ok. Room was updated recently just enough to cover the dated establishment A/C worked great, refrigerator had a constant humming noise so we turned it off. Complimentary snacks were very plentiful and appreciated. May we suggest to include 2 bottled water? Easy reservation and check in with code for room door. No front desk, any problems you must text # to contact. Best value with comfort in the surrounding towns that didn’t look like your grandparents 1980 furniture and bedspread. Many upscale hotels in the area but wanted something reasonable for 1 night passing through. Thank you for your hospitality.

The room was clean, but extremely noisy. We unplugged the refrigerator, everything we could think of but the grinding sound like when your Keurig starts to brew never ceased. Also, we could annoyingly hear the neighbors laughing into the wee hours of the morning. Lastly, there are no food options in Independence, where the lodge is located. After a long drive from Reno, who wants to drive 30 minutes round-trip to Lone Pine to get food for dinner. We ate from the Mexican food truck, which was less than mediocre. For upwards of $150.00 that we paid for one night, you must be able to find nicer lodging with food options for that price in Lone Pine. I selected the lodge from the high rating and reviews on Expedia (which I do not understand at all) and was terribly disappointed. I hope that you read my review to save yourself the poor experience that I had.

Great location and comfy!

Check in was easy. Bed was so comfy and I loved the free snacks provided. The ac worked very well, but it did make strange noises that kept waking me up. I was not able to get the water in the shower to a good temp. It took forever to heat up and then when I added the cold, it just stayed scalding. There are tons of plugs in the room! I love it. I would stay here for a another night again
