As a family with 3 children we spent one week in the Mandola Rosa in July. We regularly bookend the hotel next to it, but when we arrived we got the information that our hotel was overbooked and we would get an uprade and be transfered to the Mandola Rosa. What we expected was absolutely amazing and a great surprise for all of us! The hotel is dreamfully located and we received a great villa with pool and everything we needed for an outstanding vacation. The Mandola Rosa main building is beautiful with an impressing view from its terrasse, where the wonderful breakfast is served in the morning. During our week the staff was more than attentive and took loving care of us and our children and there was nothing left to be desired. As a hotelier by myself I was more than impressed, that the hotel wasn't managing with less cause of our upgrade. Instead of that they used their chance to satisfy and make a great impact. This is an intelligent strategy with the result, that we definitely plan to return. Just to let the management know: you have great employees, with an outstanding mind for service and attitude. We loved Sotiria from the front desk, she is an absolutely lovely person!!! Also admirable was Stella and her colleague with the blond hair during the breakfast. Also the restaurant manager or supervisor and the nice lady in the restaurant with the red curls (so sorry, that we did not noticed all the names). Many thanks to all of you to make our stay so unique!!!

Chef Rokanas and everyone in the serving team offered us a spotless dining experience. The dishes, the service, the ambience make Cap Voyage one of the best restaurants in Greece which caters to the most discerning food lovers. So far the highlight of our stay. Well done to the team for offering a fresh view on classical Greek cuisine in elegant style.

Great experience. Private pool and independent house is a nice way to get away from noise and traffic. It is also nice for the kids to be able to mingle and use water slides or go to the beach with more crowd. Best of both worlds.

We visited Mandola Rosa and the resort for a weekend at the end of June, 2017. The feeling you get as you enter up to the reception is seductive with the buildings surrounded by palm trees and full of pines. You will be amazed with the length and density of the surrounding gardens and forest. The cap voyage restaurant is amazing with top level of creativity and remarkable tastes. Pls do not miss to have dinner there and you will certainly remember this chef. The beach is long with pure golden sand and the waters are clean and nice for a long swim. Not to miss to mention that the breakfast will satisfy every taste and the view from the balcony is breaktaking. The arcitecture of the buildings and gardens is of top level tha combines dorian rythm with italian influences.

If you like to walk on a sandy beach ...without one hotel after the other...this grecotel is perfect. the main building is beautiful. the villas great. We travel 15 weeks a year and have stayed at a very large number of luxury hotels around the world.

The Mandola Rosa is an amazing resort, spacious, and a place where one can get some tranquility. The service is good and they will assist you immediately with your query. The room is comfortable, despite personally founding the bed hard, which was tackled by bringing me 2 extra thin mattress toppers that made my sleep much better. A welcome wine and some fruit to accompany it upon arrival, the view was lovely and the pool was deep enough to have a proper swim. However, to my big disappointment (and this is not the first Grecotel I come across with such a problem, except Caramel) the bathroom was terrible, with very poorly fixed tiles, cheap furniture and rubbish basket. My room’s toilet was old fashioned and does not represent at all a small "leading" hotel. At least a lot of shampoos, conditioner, shower gel and body cream were provided. The breakfast area is very elegant, with a nice view over the sea, the selection of food offered is quite minimal (another point at which Caramel performed much better). The guests are a bit somehow weird, with a strong show off from the Russians. Also, another point that I wanted to highlight is that I had to carry with me my long pink beach towel all the time, as the resort can't provide them directly at the beach. This was not well received since not only it is a long way, but I also had to carry my kids toys, making it pointless selecting a luxury hotel without having such a minimal service. Their answer was that the other 2 resorts got blue towels and some guests might take them, which could easily be solved if somebody was near the beach or the swimming pool providing them. The snacks however were delicious and promptly provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the only disappointment being -if you are used to real luxury- the bathroom. Last but not least, the massages are great, and would strongly recommend you to try the Ayurveda ones.

It's the memories we have from our fourth trip to this fabulous resort that gets us through the winter! We choose to return here rather than go to the islands. The views are amazing, the sea is wonderful, the service is impeccable. Ms. Georgia Florou, the front office manager is the kindest person with the highest caliber of professionalism. We enjoy every second at this resort.

It's tough to review this place, since personell and location are really superb - the staff was courteous and mostly spoke excellent English. The location and the general setting of the hotel, with stunning views, a lovely sandy beach and a shallow bay that is perfect for swimming - excellent. Also, the Cap Voyage restaurant is fantastic, as well as the Sea Dunes restaurant in the neighbouring Thalasso hotel, where we had most of our lunches. Unfortunately there were however many little things that spoiled the 5 star experience and led me to rate this so low. The hotel overall is a bit faded and could use some renovation effort. Having deliberately chosen a boutique hotel, it's also important to note that this is situated in between several huge all inclusive hotels (the facilities of which can also be used). It's very hard to maintain that boutique feel in those surroundings, especially since the Mandola Rosa doesn't have many facilities itself. The entertainment from next door was audible in the evening, but I didn't find that annoying at all since it was limited to very reasonable hours. The room service, excluding breakfast, was terrible - bland, over- or undercooked and everything seemed to come with fries although it said otherwise on the menu. Food at the beach was also room service food, but you were lucky if you got a hold of beach service anyway - he seemed to only appear roughly twice every day. It got slightly better at the end of our stay, I assumed after a few complaints. At a 5 star hotel I expect much, much better beach service. A few days into our stay a terrible storm hit the coast, leaving the beach in devastating condition. Of course that kind of damage isn't repaired in a day - but it did take 2 days to clean up even the basics, and it was hard not to feel like second class guests when the villa gazebos where cleaned up first while the less substantial damage to the "normal" beach was left much too long. Notably, the neighbouring hotels were also cleaned up much faster then the Mandola Rosa beach - we suspected a lack of staff. This would even have been fine if the hotel had made any kind of gesture as an apology for the delayed clean-up, but there was only apologetic shrugs. On our last day, we had a late transfer out and couldn't stay in our room after 12, but were assured there were showers we could use in the spa. We were then sent to shower in the showers next to the indoor pool, with no privacy whatsoever and not a changing room in sight. Having to shower and change in public in a supposedly 5 star hotel was just the final straw - this has never happened in any other hotels we have stayed at. They send many other guests that way, too, one elderly lady was very distraught and limited herself to washing herself in the sink. All this combined, this was simply not a five star experience at all, and hence heavily overpriced. It was however hard to write this bad review, since the staff were so lovely, the location is fantastic and you could feel that they were trying for a good experience at every step. Maybe lack of staff is an issue, maybe the storm knocked everyone off their game? One important thing to note: We were a same-sex couple on honeymoon and not only were we welcomed so warmly and friendly that is was a true joy (and we've had different experiences in Greece before), we also got an extra 2 vouchers for the restaurant in addition to the one included in the honeymoon package. That was really a lovely gesture and we had three great dinners in the Cap Voyage. I think if the Mandola Rosa invests into a renovation and has more staff especially at the beach, it could be great. At the current status I can unfortunately not recommend it, at least not at 5 star pricing.

One of the best hotels in the world I 've ever been. Attention to detail, privacy, atmosphere, worth to pay for it.. the beach is amazing and absolutely perfect for kids, the food is excellent, the service is warm, personalised and expert. In Mandola Rosa you feel the difference of authentic luxury, the facilities are wonderful along with the surroundings and environment of the hotel complex. The spa is a must, like the Cap Voyage restaurant, both fantastic.. It worths 100%, like no other hotel of this kind in Greece/Mediterranean.

We stayed with my husband and our two kids in Villa Delos. The villa itself is amazing, the staff very kind, made our stay exceptional providing us everything we asked for. The food was delicious as well. It certainly meets the standards of a 5 star hotel. If you are looking for an exceptional holiday go for it with no second thoughts!
