No staff was fine, breakfast was excellent and hotel neighborhood was quiet. Bathroom was nicer than mine at home and had HEATED floor and rain shower- that was really nice. Beds were very comfy. No chair or place to put luggage but we made do. 16 parking spaces in the garage meant we got a spot 2/5 nights but parked nextdoor at the Pizza place after 6pm and were sure to leave by 9am. To get into the garage was annoying because you have to come at it from one side of the street so you have to circle the block and then it's a one way so we ended up backing down a hill into traffic a few times when other cars were leaving (just to find out there were no spots anyway). Housekeeping didn't come every other day or every third day and when they came on day 4 they didn't change sheets but they are clear about eco friendly habits so perhaps that's why. Shared fridge on the floor was great and we used the option to grab a kettle and fan from the closets. Would stay there again but it isn't "close" to town: not walkable. There is a 24 hour store, 10am-9pm grocery and a pharmacy nearby which we used. Pizza next door was great but had to call in our order bc we didn't have an Iceland number.

Right on main shopping street, clean, bathroom had shower, basic room. Parking is on street so hard to find parking or park blocks away at underground parking. Probably true for any downtown hotel.

We have loved our stay. This is a beautiful property and located right in the middle of town. Some street noise but still very lovely and quiet at night. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable, spacious and charming it was. Definitely recommend. Love the coffee, tea, milk, and juice in the refrigerator. Definitely a wonderful touch.
