This hotel is great. The location is a few minutes from the beach and shops and an easy walk to the bus station where you can get anywhere. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is a bit ‘brits abroad’ but lots of choice and good quality. The kids pool is fantastic and the nightly kids dances are great fun. The free ice cream was very popular! Our room was on the front so some traffic noise but nothing worse than any other road. The room was comfortable and clean. Remember to get a card from the reception for the air con if you need/want it. We would definitely return to the hotel and would recommend it. Great value for money for a short break in the sunshine. My only criticism is no pool towels provided so remember to take your own.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, how people have gone back year after year is beyond me, the rooms are basic than basic the food was same pretty much every day I had to eat out on 3 nights out of 11 the entertainment team was poor the music and entertainment was governed by a decibels noise meter seriously think again before booking this hotel.
Visited this hotel in October Check in was quick and in our room in a blink. Room was really good at back of hotel,it was quite and got the sun in late afternoon. Beds were really comfortable and bathroom was clean and adequate. Food was spot on in restaurant but the snack bar was awful with very little choice and often served cold or luke warm. Ice creams were available from 11 till midnight. Pools were ok but looked dirty with cracked tiles. Entertainment was boring and lacked imagination. The beach nearby was fantastic with great views across the bay. Water sports were a rip off compared to other holiday places we visited. The shops were pretty expensive as well and most of them had very little stock due to the time of year. Eating out is very expensive here so glad we were all inclusive as we would have been skint after a couple of days. Overall this hotel is really good but can do better by providing pool towels and providing better choice and quality snacks. Would I go there again well possibly if they made some little improvements regarding the above. By the way the team on desk and manager was very helpful and approachable which was a good touch
We have just come back from a weeks stay at the Ereso and enjoyed ourselves and we agree with most of the reviews posted, however there are a few things that did not meet our expectations i.e.: the food was in our opinion very limited in variety and choice I know this was the last week of the season but it looked like the hotel was using food they had left, if you went to breakfast lunch or dinner in the latter half of the sitting the food had mostly gone and not replaced this was not helped by the overweight people going round for seconds or even thirds this we witnessed more than once we even saw the them take food at the end of there meals back to the pool and rooms despite the restaurant have a sign stating please do not remove food or drinks from the restaurant. I think the management should enforce this rule. Having said that we did find that most all staff were pleasant and efficient and some were not, especially in the restaurant.
Arrival after a 45 min transfer (did have 5 stops before Ereso) was speedy and was greeted by welcoming staff. We went straight to our rooms which were very basic but nice to have a fridge in room, air con and ceiling fan. Unfortunately the beds were terribly hard and even with additional pillows I slept awful. Also the walls are very thin and the doors are heavy and slam shut very noisily. I imagine in peak season it's very annoying! After unpacking we went to the pool and found sunbeds straight away no problem and did so everyday too even at 9am an hour after they "opened the pool". The restaurant is very nice and offered a good selection of breakfast lunch and dinner however there were no theme nights. I'm guessing as end of season which was a disappointment. Staff are all fantastic and work extremely hard. Animation team are all fabulous with the adults and children especially 'Will' who recently joined the team. Entertainment is absolutely crap unfortunately but it didn't ruin our evenings we made the most of it and continued to giggle lots ! Again this was prob because it was end of season ? Overall a really good holiday and would definitely return. Thanks Ereso staff xx
We stayed for 2 weeks with our 1 year old arriving 1st May. This was the very start of the season and we were the first English to arrive. The clientele was mostly Spanish pensioners for the first couple of days and they absolutely love children and made such a fuss of our toddler. Everyone was so friendly and lovely! Within a few days the hotel was full of British tourists. Mostly old couples or young families which suited us perfectly, really nice atmosphere. The lady manager is just amazing. She makes a point of speaking to you daily and takes a genuine interest. Our son had a chest infection and soaring temperature of 40c one night and we took him down to reception in the early hours and she called us a taxi and directed us to the clinic in Santa Eulalia. She came to find us the next day to check how he was doing and showed genuine concern. The restaurant was great. Something for everyone and we particularly enjoyed the wonderful crepes with chocolate sauce! Again, the restaurant staff were lovely, friendly and fussed over our son all the time which he loved! There is a great kids pool with fountains which we stayed around every day. The animation team do a wonderful job but they don't hassle you to get involved if you want to chill out which is good. Location is great, close to the bus stop, couple hundred yards from the beach and a twenty minute stroll around to the Hippy Market. We emailed ahead to ask for a top floor room as we wanted a quiet room with the toddler and we knew we would be early to bed each night. They said they would do their best and when we arrived they did indeed allocate us a top floor room. Our room was a more than adequate size and the bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. Wonderful powerful shower and nice hot water! The cleaners, like all the staff were so friendly and pleasant. My Mum and stepdad flew out to join us for the second week and when i went to meet them the manager was in the lobby and asked if they were my parents. When she found out they were she spoke to the receptionist and made sure they were given the room next door to us which was very much appreciated. Can't recommend this lovely, friendly and clean hotel enough. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we visit Es Cana again.
Travellers - 3 families = 2 adults & 1 teenager X2, 2 adults, 1 child & 1 teenager. Transfer -30-45 minutes, depending on stops. Staff - all amazing, so friendly, chatty, polite, proud of their hotel. Rooms - basic, but very clean. Hard beds with rubbish pillows, powerful shower and great air con plus a ceiling fan Food - at first looks like there isn’t much selection, but no-one out of our party of ten, ever went hungry. Not a great choice of drinks available though in restaurant. Pool area - as it was Oct, no sunbed rush. Plenty of space and incredibly clean, comfy area. However PLEASE upgrade to decent outside table and chairs instead of cheap white plastic sets. Entertainment - daytime was excellent, evening entertainment was poor. This did affect our evening fun if staying at the hotel. Location - excellent, slap bang in the centre of Es Cana - Perfect. Overview - superb hotel, which I highly recommend for ALL ages (2yrs to 100yrs) Thank you for such a brilliant 7 days in the sun, all ten of us didn’t want to leave! Ps Darren tried really hard all week to win a diploma, but one person kept beating him! Thanks for cheering him on Will from the Animation team 👍🏼

Just returned from two week stay at the Ereso, our third stay there and the staff are as welcoming and friendly as always. we stayed in room 425 with a sea view but also room 424 could see directly into our room when they sat on their balcony so kept curtains closed. Food was fresh and tasty we really enjoyed the fish and salads and the delicious desserts. Our room was cleaned daily and always smelled fresh, lovely towels changed daily. We drink lots of black coffee and water during the day and I like that you can serve yourself from the bar. The areas around the hotel are always spotless staff always cleaning, my husband uses two walking sticks and lifts and seating areas are readily available. Great restful holiday , hotel is 3 star but staff are five star they can't do enough for you. We have already booked for October 2018 would like room 426 if possible, we look forward to our next visit thank you all for another great holiday.
