The main reason for booking this hotel is the seaview so make sure you book a seaview room sadly the downstairs bar is now closed and entry to the hotel from the beach during the day is not possible . With the £ dropping against the euro the pricing is not so competitive but this is Spain wide decent half board but no beach towels .kinda felt it was catering for the weekender market with the 24hour automated vending machines at reception .worth it for the view

Very thin walls. The room was clean. The room wasn't ready after arriving after4pm traveling from Las Vegas. All you can hear was doors slamming. Our room was down a dark thin hall (I'm glad it was on the same floor as the front desk). It's a good place if you have a short stay. Ibiza can be very expensive.

Hotel room had no water running, no battery in remote and phone does not work to even call reception. Bed had what appears to be men's beard hair over pillow cases. Extremely basic in every way. Photos overlooking pool is not the pool that is part of this hotel.

Breakfast and dinner buffet very good choice (different theme every day - Mexican, Indian, pasta, chips, salad every day), very friendly waitress, Teresa. Pls note drinks are extra; a Fanta costs 3 euros and they refuse to serve tap water for free. I assumed drinks would also be included with half board but not the case; disappointing considering the high price I paid. Rooms very clean, good sea view (but not full on as the hotel is circular shape - you would need room no 210 plus to face the sea full on) but good size balcony. Very thin walls meant I did not get much sleep, Dutch teenagers in room next door made too much noise. You hear every single sound next door; speaking, sex, TV etc. Next time I would pay more for a better hotel. Great aircon which is quiet and runs all the time. Free Wifi worked perfectly. We witnessed thieves climbing over balcony on 1st floor below us, make sure your room is not on 1st floor! Very easy for thieves to climb over railing from the side alley. Also make sure you keep patio door shut when you leave room. Security guard was called but he ended up having a chat and shaking hands to the burglars! Did not give us much confidence in the hotel. Located right on sea front, you can see and hear the sea and people watch from balcony. 10m walk from bus stop for the beach bus to Salinas and also airport bus. Euroski supermarket 10m walk away very cheap, avoid the Spa supermarket on the corner as its very overpriced. Good hotel but price was doubled from last year; hugely overpriced, I paid 930 GBP for 7 nights but the service from reception and the general quality did not reflect that top price. Exception was Miska - very professional and friendly receptionist (the others didn't even want to answer my questions and looked annoyed all the time). This is not a bad hotel but its too overpriced - you do not get value and walls are too thin.

First time @Ibiza, had a fab time. Hotel was very good and staff amazing. My thanks to Miska, Teresa, Alba and Fran - you made our stay ever so great:) Hotel is very clean, food is very good and the choice for breakfast/dinner excellent for a 3 star Hotel. Our room had a see view thanks to Fran! All sort of Ikea style, basic but funky. Also, close to town, port, clubs and great sandy beach. I'm on a gluten free diet and to my surprise they had all sorts of foods to offer - was amazed with choices presented. Recommend the Hotel - value for money for sure!!!!!!!

We stayed at Playasol Maritimo first week in July. We had a great stay. We had booked a standard double room. The first room we received on second floor didn't have any window - just a glassed section to the stairway!? We went back to the reception which helped us out with a new much nicer room on 5th floor with a window of course. The breakfast was well sorted and always filled up, and with a terrace that had a fantastic view of the bay. We got great help from the reception with various stuff and I must really mention Miska who took care of us in the most outstanding and professional way - 10 out of 10 to her!!

I re-read some of the other reviews and wondered if I stayed at the same hotel! The staff were nice and helpful, I will say that. However, when I check in and ask "Can I please have a second key card?" (a plastic key card) and am told "Yes, but we will charge you €5 if you don't return it.", it sets me up for a "nickel - and diming" experience. It is high season so the room was expensive for the quality. No decor. Bathroom with a rusty towel warmer and peeling bathtub -- prettied up with a rain-shower shower head. The pool is down the road at their sister hotel. Nice pool. €20 deposit for a towel. Won't be back.

Stayed here first in October last year! came back again as I enjoyed staying here, it is close enough to walk into Ibiza old town, catch the taxi boat back, it goes every hour just 3 or 4 euros depending which one you get!

Stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is in a great spot on Ramon Muntaner (15 mins walk to old town) and near Figueretas beach. Great value bed and breakfast rate, nice breakfast room where you can sit outside. Theres a small indoor pool but you can use the larger pool at the sister hotel two mins up the road. Hotel offers mountain bike rental for EUR15 (free in winter). Staff very friendly - particularly Miska on reception - she is a credit to the company. Room looks recently refurbed, tasteful decor, very clean. Basic shower gel and towels provided. There's also a useful shower room with towels if you have a late flight (check-out time 11am, you can keep your room but it's something like 50 EUR) so don't bother. Only tiny niggles: Water pressure in the shower pretty poor. Curtain doesn't close the full amount of the window in the room and so sun blaring in early. Not enough seats outside at breakfast (why not move some of the inside seats outside? We had to 'fight' people off stealing our table twice!), and very minor, but the seats on the rental bikes are INCREDIBLY uncomfortable! Such a shame for such good bikes, we could barely walk the next day. For this reason I wouldn't rent from here again. Painful!!

This hotel is situated in a very beautiful spot on Figueretas beach, there are nice restaurants around. It is very easy to reach Dalt Vila from the hotel. If you can get a room with a sea view you not going to regret it, because the view is amazing. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. If you want something special, this is the place...
