We arrived here a day late after a cancelled flight due to the French strikes. The hotel is join with the one next door and they share reception etc and although friendly the reception at night is not very welcoming. Up to our room and it wasn’t what we booked as per the website but as they were fully booked there was nothing that could be done. The apartments are very dated and old and basic. This is a great location but it needs a revamp to make it worth the amount we paid off season. We didn’t eat in the hotel although it appeared busy most days. There is a buffet in the lobby area and vending machines all around including large bottles of water. There are mini supermarkets all along the same road as well as restaurants and bars. The sea is about a 5 min or 30 seconds straight off the cliff. Ibiza town is a good 30 min walk and the best beach just 10 min away. Our last afternoon we were treated to naked bathroom antics in the hotel opposite and screaming neighbours in the room next to us. This was the only hotel I’ve been truly happy to check out of knowing I’ll never go back. Don’t pay for a sea view as unless you are on one side of the hotel it will be obscured by solar panels of the hotel in front.
At the far end of Ibiza but near the busiest beaches. Ok if you just want to collapse after a long day of tourism or beach but no luxury at all. Needs an update and renewal. And doesn't seem cheap comparing to others, expected more.
Disappointed with the apartment, very basic kitchen for self catering, 2 electric rings, no electric kettle, toaster or microwave, just a kettle which you put on the electric ring , which took ages to boil, on the positive side very clean, cleaners came every day and clean towels every day, only 1 English Channel on a old TV, good air con and very comfortable beds, these apartments need bringing up to date in the kitchen side of things, been in better places for less than I paid here.
1st time ever staying in a hotel that uses same material n color for curtains and bed cover. Beds uncomfortable..rooms dirty and coridoors stinky. By 10.45am you will hear a loud soud as if someones knocking down your door. Staff go round like prison doors waking inmates chasing guest out by 11am sharp! Check in process slow and too many questions. Bad hotel. All playasol hotels are poorly run. Never stay
Great value for money if you want to be near playa de bosser and Ibiza town. Located near shops, beaches and bars. The Staff are friendly, the pool is great and the rooms were clean. My third stay and I would stay again.
The hotel is located for a 20-30 min walk from the main bus station (depends on your luggages) really close to the sea. You can have breakfast in the hotel for EUR8 or in the bars around (especially down by the sea). Our room was okayish with a mini fridge and A/C but we found some insects around. The receptionists are really nice and helpful. It's a pity that we had no chance to use the swimming pool since it is open between 11am and 5pm.
Only a short walk from the town centre, Dalt Vila and Figueretas Beach. Whilst the hotel is fairly basic this is to be expected for the affordable price. It was always clean/presentable and the staff were very helpful. Our room was cleaned well every day. We didn't use the pool restaurant, bar or breakfast facilities - but only because we prefered to explore the area. The TV was basic but the kitchen area and fridge were handy. The balcony gave a nice view of the sea and the pool. Reception quickly booked our taxi back to the airport on our last day. The only elements which were slightly confusing were that the Lux is attached to another playasol hotel. As all guests for both hotels were using the other hotel's main entrance, reception and pool the Lux felt a bit quiet and secondary sometimes. The wifi took a bit of working out too. Make sure to use the "L" for "Lux" prefix for your room number when logging in and click the email you get sent for full wifi access. These are both small points though and we had an amazingly affordable stay.
Enjoyed out stay. Good room. Great location. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean hotel and good value. We arrived late on the Friday night and stayed till the Monday morning. Not far from the beach and about a 10 minute brisk walk to Ibiza Old Town.
Value for money room, good location for those who are not fancy about extra details. The mini apartment is quite essential with one bedroom, one kitchen with a table and a sofa bed and the bathroom. Overall clean and super thumb up for the mega view on the sea.
Stayed a few days at the end of April with my two daughters.I had booked two sea view rooms but unfortunately my room was overlooking the roof of the adjoining block with a small balcony. I discussed this at reception and they found me the best room in the house!! Great apartment and a large terrace with a clear sea view. The rooms generally were fine(a microwave and toaster would be a great plus!)-we were self catering so I cant comment on the breakfast. The hotel is part of a complex of three hotels and while it has its own small pool- the large pool at the back of the Panoramic is most popular. This is a good quiet hotel in the right location with easy access to Figueretas promenade cafes and beach. Leaving the hotel and turning left allows you to walk to Ibiza town arriving in the Old Town I would recommend this hotel and will stay again
