The desk clerk was phenomenal! We got stranded in Hyannis - due to hurricane Erin we couldn’t get a ferry to Nantucket. Found this hotel on Expedia and booked it - I thought for the night we needed - turned out I accidentally booked it for the next night. When we arrived and I was told the booking wasn’t until the next night, the desk clerk found us a room for that night, gave us a discount, and assured us if we got stranded another night we would be in the same room and wouldn’t have to move. The room was clean, and quite larger than I would have thought. While experience with the Hyannis Inn was so pleasant in such a stressful situation.

Hyannis Inn is a clean property but a little dated. It' is on Main Street in Hyannis close to shops, restaurants and bars. There is a bar in front of the property that opened this summer. The Hyannis Inn is also close to the harbor Island boats. The property is near everything.

Well-located, nothing fancy.

Hotel without any bells or whistles, and nothing special about the actual rooms, but extremely well-located, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and check-in and check-out was easy. They sent me lots of helpful texts leading up to my stay. Our particular room was quite small, but that was ok for us.

Front desk & general management were downright hostile when politely asked to help cure a parking problem brought about by the motels failure to honor ITS OWN "parking for guests only policy." While the problem was EVENTUALLY remedied, nothing negates the horrible attitudes of this motels personnel. The motel films everything at the front desk. Let em post the full & unedited video of the interaction. If you have no need for interaction with personnel, the motel accommodations themselves are adequate.

The only thing that could have been better is the bathroom sink didn't drain properly and more towel racks in the bathroom. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay!
