The Cedar House didn't disappoint. It is decorated in Texas theme and there are so many antique chochkies, it took us all weekend to find them. This house is walking distance to the square where there is shopping and food. We could also walk to SHSU campus on a nice day. There were clean, fresh towels in both bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and well fitted with fresh linens and fluffy pillows.The best part, was the basket of "forgots" in the bathroom; stocked with razors, hair ties, chapstick, etc. Your choice 1. This saved us a trip to the store for the smaller toilettries. While the kitchen was stocked with utensils, plates and every spice you could need. I wished for a "forgot" basket in the kitchen too. We were short on gallon ziplocks, limes, throw away tupperware and our basic condiments. My son has 3 more semesters left in Huntsville, I hope we can make it back to one of the houses in the future.

Such a fun place! The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds are comfortable. It was nice to have essentials available for anything forgotten. Would definitely recommend.

A very great location, just a short walk to the town square. Such an artfully and beautifully decorated place! The nice back deck and fenced in yard was ideal for us. The hosts are easy to reach and respond quickly. Highly recommend this gem for your Huntsville visit!

This was our second time here at the Cedar House. Host was extremely nice and responsive to emails. They left us a welcome baked good that was amazing. Cute Christmas Tree which made it even more inviting.

Everything was great. The heater was broken and it was cold Friday night but the owners did what they could with extra space heaters to try and keep the place as warm as possible in light of missing replacement parts. I was dealing with the same issue with my own heater at home and understand the frustrations. They were accommodating when I needed to return because of something I left behind. Very cute home!

This was the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. HANDS DOWN. The attention to detail was insane. The way everything was thought of, from night lights to unique art, to extra toiletries to even leaving us a sweet treat/gift.

Classy, Country, and Cool!This is the only place you should stay in Huntsville! The property is amazing, comfortable, cute, extremely equipped, and perfect for pups (fully fenced yard)! Graduation gee away

Plenty of linens and cooking utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I do not recommend staying there if you have balance and walking issues. The house is beautiful and transports you back in time. Love the western theme. The hot tub would’ve been greatly appreciated after our travel from Fla.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay

This is most likely the best place we have ever stayed as far as cleanliness and being stocked! The backyard was so peaceful and relaxing. So close to everything in town and the bearkat golf course. The hosts are amazing at communicating. I want to stay here again!!!
