Quiet Cottage on Private Lake in Muskoka - Pets Stay Free!

Please note that in the winter months, guests need to have all wheel drive and winter tires, or 4x4 and winter tires. Our road is maintained, but it is still a cottage road and the conditions can change due to weather.

Escape to the beautiful Muskokas in our cozy, winterized cottage - the perfect getaway for families and friends to spend quality time together. We are conveniently located just off of Hwy11, on a small, private lake, a great destination for both winter and summer activities! The waterfront cottage offers plenty of space, a wood-burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and beautiful lake views that you can’t beat! Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are both available right at the door! And Arrowhead Provincial Park is just down the highway!
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the cottage. Be sure to clean up well after ANY cannabis use. We have many dogs and children that visit.
"Daytime" outdoor fires are not permitted during the summer. There is a magnet on the fridge with information to enquire about fire bans.
Please no glassware on the dock or by the fire pit. Plastic only. There are cups in the cupboard over the sink on the left.

Really good! Loved the huge area for our dog to romp. The fireplace was also a huge plus. The road up was a little gnarly for a Prius, but we did it.

Slice of Paradise

This is a great cottage in a perfect location on a private lake. It easily accommodated 2 adults, 4 tweens/teens and our 2 dogs. We've rented a lot of cottages and Emma is by far one of the best hosts we've ever rented from. Great communication/responsiveness and well detailed instructions made this a perfect trip. Only 3 mins into the small town of Novar for some groceries/wine or less than 15 mins to get to downtown Huntsville. We'll definitely be looking to rent this cottage again!

Perfect way to truly unwind! This cottage is beautiful, clean and has stunning views, so peaceful. Emma and Scott are fabulous and don’t stop for a moment to ensure you are enjoying your time and have everything you need. To top it off- pet friendly! We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful and serene

We loved our stay at Emma and Scott's. The cottage is beautiful and really well equipped in an amazing setting. The autumn colours were prime by the end of our time there. The small lake is so peaceful. The land is nicely wooded giving us colour and protection from the sun. We so enjoyed our evenings by the fire...just lovely. Thanks Emma and Scott.
