The hotel was very old, hotel interior were very old furnished and the room interior was run down. Strong Insecticide smell along the carpeted corridor. Limited power points in the room and shower room were not properly cleaned previously. Overall service was poor.
Average is exaclty how I am seeing this hotel. Build in 1992, and years you can see, outside fasade requires cleaning. For people carrying heavy luggage please note that some stairs leading to the reception, no assistance for luggage. Room was spaceous, though as hotel itslef, requires upkeep in general, furniture and el.sockets in perticular. Options for breakfast, you guess, average. Internet, forget use of laptop, mobile phone wi-fi with slow speed. Location, shopping mall is near by, and museum across the street, 10 minutes of walk to the restauants and bars. This hotel is good for nights stay.
This is a good hotel if you have to stay in Huelva for several days. Is a little bit old, but they are renewing all the installations. The breakfast is very good and the service is great. Recommended.

The experience here was a bit mixed. Reception staff were generally very helpful, and had reasonable English for non-Spanish speakers, however, service could be slow (i.e. one receptionist and a few customers). Breakfast was a good buffet plus cooked to order selection but the only other food available was via room service. The bar area was little used. Rooms were comfortable. During my stay the car park was closed for re-development meaning usage of expensive municipal facilities a short walk from the hotel.
We go to Huelva at least twice per year to visit family and usually stay in a more central hotel. Our family have recently moved, however, to within a 10 minute walk of this hotel, so we gave it a try despite the mixed reviews. On arrival, we were welcomed and were able to dispense with our dubious Spanish as the receptionist spoke good English. Check in was reasonably swift and we were allocated a room on the third floor. There are two efficient lifts so access was no problem although the steps at the front could be an issue for some. On arrival at our room, we were somewhat shocked to be faced with a room which was clearly in the process of renovation; tools etc and a large shopping trolley blocking our entrance. On our return to the reception desk, there was some delay whilst other guests were checked in. The poor gentleman had no help it seemed. However, we were promptly given the key to the room next door. This one was fine on first inspection; it, at least, seemed ready for guests. A good size, it had a private balcony with a good view to the east promising the morning sun. A lovely big wardrobe was a real pleasure after some we have suffered. Air conditioning was effective and easy to operate. No frills like welcome trays or coffee making facilities, however. The bathroom was a good size and clean (though showing its age through stained ceiling etc). Only when we had settled in did we discover the biggest problem with the room; electric sockets! There were none within a charger's length of the bed, a couple were loose in the wall and were of a style that did not accommodate our adaptors. With two phones, a tablet, two electronic vape devices and my straighteners, this was going to be a challenging week. A multi-plug adaptor was available, so long as we could forego the TV and a lamp. There was an appropriate plug in the bathroom. Because of the location, we resigned ourselves and made the most of our week. Parking seems expensive and access looks tight, although we did not use it. There is free roadside parking a short walk away on Avenue Escultora Miss Whitney. Nor did we eat in the hotel. A coffee machine in the foyer would be a nice addition, although there are several nice cafes within a short walk for that early morning caffeine fix. Another 5 minute walk away is Hipercor, within El Corte Ingles. Being open all day, it is great for supplies to avoid having to use the mini bar refreshments and snacks. The main centre with its lovely shopping streets, cafes and restaurants is around 10 minutes' walk. On departure we were charged for three breakfasts which we had not taken. Thankfully this was easily and politely dealt with by the female receptionist on duty that morning. On balance, for us, the location outweighs the other niggles. The cost is reasonable too, cheaper than alternatives. We are returning in August for a longer stay and hope that the renovations are continuing and we find ourselves in one of the updated rooms. Fingers crossed!
I contacted the hotel before travelling as it was my partners birthday as I wanted to know if I could organise a bottle of wine and balloons. Two days before arrival I received a reply from Elisa in reception saying that although they didn't have these materials a bottle of wine would be placed in the room for when we arrived and that they would prepare something special. We checked in around 13.00pm and when we entered the room there was a bottle of wine,1 wine glass & nothing else. I went back to reception and showed Dolores the email I had received and she confirmed that something would be placed in the room later. Nothing was placed in the room & when I questioned this the next day Dolores said that it was the kitchen´s fault & nothing had been prepared. I was disappointed as it was the hotel that made the suggestion in the first place & especially as I had asked again upon arrival. The room had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable & the location was great. Definitely one of the best buffet breakfasts - lots of variety and good quality.
I have no better words for this hotel but to say it is time to put some money in. Although staff is friendly, there is a serious language barrier and beside Spanish it is very difficult to explain your needs in English. AC was not operational, furniture and decor is worn out. Food not accompany this 4* hotel and honestly not even interior I will put only one picture on for you to see and it is from bathroom Sorry but I can not recommend this hotel apart for quick night stay....
General status very poor 1.the staff was almost rude and not helpfull. the parking was full and we got no option from the hotel 2. the bathrooms are bellow hotel standards-super old and rusty, with no real mantainance-was imposible to shower. The cleaning was not correct, i had a lot of hair on the bath floor. I will never stay in your hotel and it's a desgrase for your chain. thank you
We liked this place. Our room was nice and large. This is an older property and there was some staining in the shower. Nothing major and certainly not as bad as other reviews have shown. Other than this minor staining everything was clean and well maintained. There were no Kleenex or wash cloths. 74.50E included breakfast for two. Secure parking was 20E. WiFi was free and ok, better than lots of hotels we've stayed in. The desk clerk, Dolores was very friendly, helpful, and encouraging. We ate supper at the hotel since we were too tired to go out. Food was good but the service was a bit slow considering that we were the only two people in the restaurant. The menu was basic and bit limited but not untypical of this sort of place. Breakfast the next morning was very nice with the usual spread of cold cuts, cheese, fruits, water, coffee, pastries, and cooked to order bacon and eggs. We'd stay here again if we're ever back in Huelva.
