Classically decorated and beautifully preserved hotel with large rooms the only real let down was the variety of the breakfast compared to other hotels we have been to in Vietnam. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Saigon Morin during a extensive tour of Vietnam. We loved the hotel. The rooms are huge and very quiet, the facilities great, including the laundry service and the gym, the pool very relaxing and the outdoor restaurant beautiful. The staff, as in all of Vietnam, are very polite and obliging. This historic hotel has been well maintained. It exudes its colonial French heritage.

My husband and I with 2 other couples stayed at Hotel Saigon Morin for 2 nights. We stayed in the Premium Deluxe Double with River View. The room was amazing. They were so big and great value for money. The hotel itself is very clean and has great history since it was built in 1901 and Charlie Chaplin stayed at this hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good and varied. There was also a poo, which we made great use of. The hotel was close to all restaurants and the market. The only restaurant we went to in Hue was Golden Rice which is only a couple,e of streets away from the hotel and the food was amazing and great value for money. Would highly recommended both the hotel and restaurant.

This ancient hotel is extremely comfortable (big rooms) and very well located. The style of the rooms is "old fashion" and it would need a re-styling effort. Everything works perfectly and the staff is very welcoming and willing to help the customers.

A lovely, large, comfortable hotel with interesting history going back to 1900. We had a lovely big room in colonial style, with a big balcony facing the river. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice, and it has a really nice pool. We ate in the Jules Ferry restaurant once, which was perfectly fine and not too expensive. There was some pressure to arrange tours and transfers through them so be prepared for this if you want to make your own arrangements.

rooms were huge the aircon was icy cold which was great to get back to after walking around hue.only thing we could fault was the fridge in the room wasnt really cold enough, but a phone call to room service and a bucket of ice was at our door in under 2 minutes everytime ,all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, spent 4 nights here and loved it.if you do stay here make sure you go to the rooftop bar of the presidential hotel next door about an hour before sunset the drinks are expensive but definately worth doing once just for the amazing views!

A lovely hotel with a rich history which is on view in photos around the wall. Its is just a short stroll across to the river and up to the Bridge built by Eiffel of Eiffel tower fame. Room was beautifully comfortable and quiet, with polished timber floors. It really has the feel of an old Colonial hotel. My big let down was the complicated shower over bath, but that is an issue I have with a lot of hotel, bath over shower.

A hotel full of history, loved staying here, great pool, great big room and good location. Food also excellent, happy hour where you buy 2 and get 1 free!!! Had the Aussie beef one night with a Charlie Chaplin movie on in the background. Busy spot. Close to the Citadel. Enjoyed this hotel.

Stayed 2 nights. The room was spacious - time to spread out our luggage without feeling cluttered. Staff were very friendly. We didnt eat dinner in the hotel as the main street was within walking distance. Night market across the road. I loved the historical feel of the building; well kept. The hotel had a money exchange counter, which came in handy. There is a coffee shop right next door which my friend was excited about. Eating breakfast outside with beautiful surroundings was very refreshing.

Stayed for one night. The staff: helpful, curteous, pleasant. Had a Premium River Deluxe room: large, spatious. The bathroom "old" looking and feeling. Only bathtub, the shower "so-so". When waking up in the morning the bathroom was infested with ants (??!!) Perfect location!! For the price we paid it is OK.
