TV didn't work, Air conditioning barely worked, room was never cleaned, vending machine had one bag of expired pretzels in it, breakfast was... not really even a breakfast and staff was missing the majority of our stay with a "call this number" note at the front desk that no one picked up.

Don’t do it

This hotel was BLEAK. Shocking for something that cost over 400$ for one night. The smell was horrible. When we arrived they gave us a key, we unlocked our room to find someone else already there and in the shower. They apologized and told us we would receive a discount on the room and gave us a different room than what we booked as a compromise. It was old and dirty and giving motel, not hotel. The breakfast in the morning was so rough. Microwaved sausage patties and stale bread. Truly one of my worst hotel experiences.

The stay was okay. The hotel is a bit run down and my room was very dusty. The outlets were too far from the lights so I couldn't turn on the light next to my bed, or use the phone.

It needs more help. I saw one young man doing most of the work. But he kept it functioning. It has its own parking lot and I liked it's location on one end of Warren St. At first glance it seems that Warren Street is the only draw. But if you walk up behind St. Charles there are wonderful views of the hills around the town.

Very disappointed!

The front desk was kind and understanding when I told them that our sheets were dirty, there were tacks in the floor, the phones don’t work to call out of the room. There were 3 large spiders in bathroom. There was dirt and black hair in bedding. The pillows were all stained. It smelled awful in the hallways. The paint is chipping off. There were homeless people sleeping at doorway. I tried to book another room immediately and everything was booked within 1 hr radius . The lamp looked like it caught on fire recently . The fridge froze our milk and juice and had to throw it away. The AC unit worked but smelled weird. My son didn’t want to stay. We drove from VA to my cousins wedding and had to bring in our sleeping bags and sheets.the elevator took a couple minutes to close the door. The staff said they were working on fixing the phones. I got several bites from spiders and hoping they aren’t bed bugs. The door dot our room didn’t lock.

I had to have my room changed 2 times and then the second night I was awaken by a couple Trying to open my room door which frighten me then the front desk personnel knocked on the door with the couple I had to explain to him that I was moved to this room the night before because my room had electrical problems mine you the room had strong fumes from spackling and wasn’t properly cleaned since maintenance was just in there as I was walking in I was so disappointed since I had such a great experience in May when I went.

This hotel was absolutely not worth $250+ per night. The rooms were not very clean, and the doors to the hallway were not square, so you could actually see into people’s rooms as you walked by. When we tried to check in, there was no one at the front desk and we had to call the phone number twice before the manager finally arrived, half-awake, to check us in. Not even 10 minutes later, after walking across the street for water, we returned to find a woman clearly high on drugs ransacking the continental breakfast area in the lobby. To make matters worse, when we left the next morning, the police were on-site. Overall, this was an unsettling and disappointing stay… far from the experience you’d expect at this price point.

This property bears no resemblance to the description on their website. The property is in dire need of improvements. A dank, musky odor hits you as soon as you enter the lobby. It is in disrepair with wires hanging from the ceilings in the common areas. My wife and I were so disappointed, that we cancelled our reservation upon arrival and took our chances finding another hotel to stay for the weekend.

Room and hotel are definitely old and run down. The front of the front desk was very dusty. Abandoned buildings across the street were very scary. The locals said it’s not safe at night around there. A scary man jumped into the back seat of my sister’s car while sitting outside waiting for us to come down and they had to scream and threaten him to get out of her car. I was uneasy about the front entrance of the hotel being open with no one at the front desk at 1am when we got back from the wedding. We didn’t need a key or anything to get into the hotel entrance. I didn’t like that we couldn’t put our expensive items into the safe in the room because the instructions of how to reset the pin were completely scratched off. Other than that, our beds were clean and the room was neat. Thank goodness we only had to stay 1 night.

Interesting but probably not coming back...

Zach the manager is wonderful. But there are a lot of issues with the hotel. Luckily it is under renovation so hopefully much better in the future. The housekeeping staff need much better skills. The breakfast could be better too. The bed was very comfortable. We slept well! That says something in their favor.
