I went there with a group of 10. It was very good. They have a good service to transport the guest to their room and the to the beach. Food was Ok. rooms are clean. The receptionist gave an outstanding service. Her name was Elisa Huerta. Muchas gracias.
This hotel made our huatulco experience sooo perfect! From the way they greeted us to our room being beyond beautiful. The view of the beach was absolutely stunning. We would definitely stay here again!
The best tip is not to stay at all at this hotel. Management needs to pay more attention to customers. Few sun umbrelas at swimingpool área. Broken chairs. Terrible food (Always the same thing). Clerks that only give escuses about shoddy service.
This hotel sells them selves as an excellent option but honestly they have a lot of improvement areas, the facilities are old, they do not take care of the food and the staff do not take care of the customers
The staff at the hotel is really nice and warm, very polite people. The place is clean, the menu at the restaurants is quite varied, good services in general and the space in the rooms is quite big for the price, totally recomend it!
It is a nice cozy hotel. Great customer service. Food service QUALITY does need to improved. This area is beautiful and very affordable. If you go during the summer, just beware it is mosquito season, so come prepared with Vitamin B (natural bug repellant) and bug spray. It is very hot and humid, so bring cotton clothing.
This review is long overdue, my wife and I visited this resort in late January and were very pleasantly surprised at how this hotel has progressed. We had visited this resort when it was known as Crown Pacific and we were not overly impressed. However due to budget reasons we returned and we are so glad that we did. Upon our arrival we were put into a room on the 4th floor, which we did not like, because we did know the higher up the mountain you go, the better the view. We went down to the front desk and we asked if we could move up to the 10th floor as that is where we had stayed before and the views are spectacular and the rooms are very spacious. They did tell us they had no rooms available on the 10th floor, but they did have a room coming available on the 7th floor that we might like, we just had to wait until the morning before we could change rooms. Which was perfectly acceptable as they did everything they could do to look after our request. Upon arriving in our newly renovated room we were very impressed on how nice it was. The staff and management were extremely approachable and were very quick to ensure our needs were met. Always smiling and singing and overall pleasant. We did have the privilege to talk to the new public relations manager and were able to discuss some of the changes that had and were being made. He told us that they no longer provide beer in the room as it was a huge expense, but what they did was provide more of the top shelf liquors at their bars at no additional charge. The chefs and the cooks provided a wide range of foods that in my mind was quite delicious. I know anytime they would serve salmon, and we could not get enough. Overall very good, but like at any resort it does get reputitious which allows you to go and enjoy the many fabulous restaurants the area has to offer. We ate at the ala carte on three separate occasions and the food and the service was exceptional. We also enjoyed the pizza and hamburgers served at the beach. We are beach people and were down every morning to watch the sun rise and would often grab our chair and remain there until some times well into the evening. If the water is rough we would go to the pool to cool off. The 7th floor pool is beautiful as well and would go there often before going back to our rooms to get ready for supper. There is also a little place to eat where the vendors go for there lunch, it is just on the other side of the golf course along the edge of the trees where they serve an amazing fish or chicken tacos for 20 pesos. What makes this place special for us,is the memories it has created. I will speak of a couple, as we are early risers, we had to catch the laundry truck down to the lobby one morning as the driver of the shuttle was doing two jobs and he offered us a ride. The wife sat in the middle with the gear shift stuck between her legs and myself on a seat that was basically just springs and no doors. We laughed and giggled all the way to the bottom. Also leaving our rooms in the morning we would encounter some bats flying around our heads and again lots of laughter as we knew they would not bother us. ( the hotel should look into some motion activated lights though). The staff is what makes us want to return. We spent 2 weeks there which is our 4th visit to the area. We are booked and coming back for 3 weeks in February 2018 cannot wait to see all of our wonderful friends again. In closing this is not a 5 star resort, but it sure is one that we will return to for many more years to come.
I visited this resort at the end of Feb.2017. I found the staff very very pleasant! One of the cart drivers was very informative and helpful (Carlos Vasquez). But over all they were all great!! Bartenders and waitresses and hostesses were all terrific!! If not for them I would never consider going back to this hotel. The room was great with a wonderful view. But no beer in the beer fridge!! Come on!! Thats just ridiculous!! Now the reason I didnt like the place. THE FOOD!! I found it very bland and a very poor selection.Thank God the town was close And the food was cheap and very good
This hotel has to do something about their HORRIBLE food, it didn't make me sick or anything, but it was simply BAD. Both flavor and presentation left much to be desired. Even something as simple as pizza was really bad. Their mixed drinks (piña coladas, daiquiris, etc) were equally bad. Also, their facilities are in need of repairs, painting and fixing, this place should be a 2 star hotel at most. They need to update a lot of things around the hotel. The pool by the beach was dirty and in need of repair. The staff was helpful and courteous, specially Leticia at the funicular. Hotel management has to do something to improve, start by firing your chef and get a better one, and hire a decent architect and repair crew. Also plant some more plants to hide all the exposed ugly bits.
The people of staff on concierge has very unpleased,is the last time to stay in this hotel, the quality of food and beverage is bad, for Children of 8 year I have pay more, the relation price vs service is bad. Dont have shows on the restaurant on dinner. And the people of check out has very unpleased.
