Good location of hotel which close to the beach, 7-11. After COVID Unlock, there are screening process which comply with GOV. All staffs are kindness and helpful. Room is tidy and clean.

A Terrific Place By the Beach

This place has a great location, very close to the beach. The amenities are a bit stingy, for instance only one bath towel per guest, no face towel provided, but other than that, everything was very nice. The wifi was good as well.

Talay was an excellent hotel. It is across the street from the beach and right in the walking street with all the restaurants. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The staff was very nice and helpful (although English is limited).

Clean and cheap but basic amentities like toothbrush and toothpaste missing. No phone in room. Internet can be slow in getting hook up. Location abit off city area.

The staff planned a scam.

About my experience on staying here, pls do check the glasses quantities since we got charged for 100 thb because the staff on the frontdesk says that there are a missing glass in the room when we try to check out from the hotel at 4am since we have a van to Bangkok to catch. But then we asked them to check our bags if we really took the glass but they didn't want to so I assume this as they're trying to scam the hotel visitors by saying we took things that we didn't since they can see that we are rushing that morning. Also, the toiletteries are not that fancy and the beverages or coffee tea are not provided. They can't even provide an iron. For this hotel management I'm demanding you to check your staffs action.

Talay Hotel The staff were pleasant and helpful.

First time at Talay Hotel. A little pricey considering the pool was rather small with mostly full sun exposure with almost no shade. A few potted trees and plants and a partial roof would help a lot. The free breakfast was the same each day. Very prompt service but prepared before hand and barely warm or cold. Weekend buffet added rice soup but mostly cold eggs sitting out in unheated trays with cold wieners. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and there were no complaints with them. Management needs to step up their game a little.
