The hotel seems clean and staff friendly. Its quiet and has comfortable beds. Offers buffet breakfast. The only rela problem is the front parking: gets full easily and, as consequence you need to park about 2/300 meters away. Not too convenient if you have bags. Recommended overall!
Saw a manager yelling at the trainees right in front of customers. If you did have some feedback for them you could've at least not yell and humiliate them in front of everyone. Not constructive at all and also not a pretty sight
Our visit for the second time was very good in most parts. The staff were friendly and helpful and The maid service harbour room was very good. I have only 2 notes of complaint however. We have stayed in many Ibis all over the world as silver, gold and platinum status. We have never been offered tea coffee and juice as welcome drink. Your policy is a disgrace. My second complaint regarding the breakfast. The choice of fruit, cereals and breads was very good but the hot buffet left much to be desired. While I appreiate that many of the guests are not europeans, appart from fried egg, there was little else for the European palate. It was all Asian and I felt letdown by this. The New Years dinner was excellent however and very tasty. Overall our stay was very pleasant and We thank you
Check in was quick, rooms were quite spacious, location is out side the town but not to far. There are many pickup buses pass the hotel. The restaurant was not expensive but tasty. The tour car operator in the hotel is a little bit expensive than the car from outside. There are plenty of cars across the road that you can rent with cheaper price. The hotel breakfast is nice with many varieties, from Asian to European tastes.Overall this hotel is worth staying. The main thing that I like is the Van service from Bangkok to Hua Hin as they drop us at the Hotel when arrival and when we returned to Bangkok they came and pickup us at the Hotel.
We drove from Bangkok to Hua Hin in a rented car and stayed for 2 nights in Ibis. We booked online as the room-rates were reasonable. Location was good as it was walking distance to the beach. It was also near to shopping malls and the sight-seeing spots in Hua Hin. The room is small but has a balcony. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft. There's a safe deposit box inside the cupboard, fridge and tv in the room. Tea and coffee making facility and 2 teacups on a tray were also provided but noticed the teaspoon was sticky, like it was used by the previous guest and was not washed properly by housekeeping staff. Will always notice these things when I'm in a hotel room. Bathroom has the basic things - bath towels, hand towels, floor mat, hair-dryer, bath gel/shampoo were provided. Room was cleaned daily and wet towels were replaced. The buffet breakfast at the ground floor cafe was adequate with continental and local fares, but food was non-halal (for muslim guests to take note). Staff were courteous but the two guards at the car park were the best! Always greeting us and guiding us whenever we arrived at the hotel's car park. There's another car park about 200 m away from the hotel. The hotel also has a shuttle van for guests to nearby town. A comfortable stay and value for money!
Hello every body, Me and my wife arrived to ibis hotel in hua hin, thailand. As everyone know, ibis concidered as a familliar network of hotels all over the world. Therefore we decided to stay in our honeymoon vacation in ibis hotel to make sure we will get a safe hotel with good food and service. After going threw 1 hour flight from koh samui to bangkok and 3 hours driving to ibis hotel that in hua hin we have finaly got into the hotel, sure we will get the best service. First, at the reception we encounter in 2 receptionists whk were very rude and unpolite. After checking , despite the disrespectful treatment we went up to the room to put our things and get out to know hua hin. Unfortunately we find out room is full with dust, stink, the floor is dusty, the mirrors are not clean. For me and wife it was really hard to breathe. We asked from the reception to change the room beacuse it is very dirty and we cant breathe in it, and absolutly cant sleep in it. After a small argument about the cleaning standart of the rooms they accepted to show us 2 rooms that were the same, dirty full with dust and inappropriate for human beings what we absolutely didnt expect from ibis, which is big netwrok of hotels company. After seeing the rooms and we understood there is no cahance of sleeping there, we asked the reception manager to cancel our booking room, and go look for another hotel in the area. The reception manager refused to cancel the order claiming that she can't cancel the order beacuse we already paid for it. Me and my wife decided to contact booking about this, trying to cancel the order in ibis. After 1 hour talking with the reception and 1 more hour with booking.com, booking.com returned to us saying that the hotel offered us 50% refund and booking added a small compensation. After we understood this is our last option and we didnt want to stay in ibis, we decided to accept the offer and we hanged up with booking. Now we are already exhausted hungry and very tired I told The reception manager that I am going to full the network and social media with bad comments about the bad service and especially about the bad staff and receptionists this hotel got. Suddenly after 2.5 hours of tortures the reception manager offered us to sign up on a paper that will give us 100% refund, In one condition, DO NOT write anything bad about the hotel in network and social media. So Dear ibis, We didnt take the offer, here is the truth about your hotel in hua hin. I suggest to all of who reads this not to try booking this hotel because they will take your life your time and your money.
We are big IBIS fans and once again were impressed with this IBIS. This hotel for us was all about the great staff. We were greeted with a smile at check in, our friendly maid servicing our room helped us so much and generally all staff we met assisted us and provided a warm greeting. IBIS Hua Hin is a great hotel and made our stay a warm experience. Rooms are typically IBIS, being small but always clean. Beds were a little soft as compared to other IBIS hotels but still had a great sleep. Walls are paper thin in this hotel and so crying children kept us from our sleep. Make sure you get a quiet room if possible. Breakfast was filling although not much variety and had few staff servicing the area to monitor when food ran out or to help anyone having problems. Overall a great experience with top marks to Reception Staff, Bar Staff, Room Maids and a big mention to the old security guy on the front gate who looked after our car. We are back on the 20th.
We stayed at the Ibis Hua Hin for 10 nights. We had the family room which was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids are 9+11, and the bunk beds were ideal for them. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Beds are good and linen is a good quality. Bathroom is basic, but all we needed. Shower is good pressure. No bench space, but we knew that as we recently stayed at the Ibis in Bangkok also. We made do. Kids loved the TV. Reception / Lobby staff could do with an injection of HAPPY!! Never a smile or a hello. They would never look up from the computer when we walked in. Staying there for 10 days, it would have been nice to build a bit of a rapport. Such a shame. The shuttle bus driver was the only member of staff who seemed to enjoy his job. He was lovely and the shuttle service was very helpful. The breakfast was good, with a good variety. One big downfall was the pool. Very poorly positioned- it NEVER sees the sun. Again, staying for such a lengthy period- the pool would have been used often if the water wasn’t freezing! We had lunch in the restaurant and the pizza was delicious!! Definitely try one of the pizzas if staying here. All in all, we would stay with the Ibis again and always enjoy staying with the Accor group.
Hotel reception greeting very good. Room is as expected from global brand. Everything clean with good quality fixtures and fittings. Extra pillows delivered quickly. Pool view room was perfect. Bar food was ok; expensive compared with local restaurants. Breakfast acceptable considering hotel has to cater for so many different tastes. Hotel is situated midway between downtown Hau Hin and Khao Takiab with its fishing Quay and local restaurants. There is shuttle bus to city or THB 10 for communal truck taxi (green car). Beach is 500metres walk; you can walk 2 or 3 Km in each direction.
I stayed for 2 nights from 19-21 of December on room 546 it was great for a budget hotel, breakfast is fine, rooms are clean and staff are great bonus the shuttle service to city . Shout out to Nueng from F/O during check-in and the bartender at night. I would recommend this hotel.
