Just had a one night stay at the hotel, The hotel itself is nice and room was also nice, but this was greatly let down by service and food quality which was extremely poor. After realizing the occupancy was low and being told when ordering bar snacks that some things were not a available, we decided to check the Chinese restaurant would be open in the evening, on checking, they had a promotion for duck and my husband enquired if it was available. On arriving at the restaurant (only people there) we sat expecting to be given a menu, instead the duck dish was put on the table, ( not ordered and also cold) we called the waitress over explained we haven’t ordered this and you’ve not given us a menu .. after arguing with us and telling us to just eat it, try it. She finally takes it away and heats it up, still no menu! Then she gives us another duck dish made from the meat, dry over cooked and chewy and again not ordered, we try it and leave 80% again complain ask to see the manager to be told he has gone home. At check out in the morning we ask to see the manager, I start explaining, he takes phone calls while I’m talking walks away, come back interrupts me and basically doesn’t want to listen. He gives us a 10% discount on the food that we didn’t order or eat. Will definitely not be going back to this hotel, as we come this way frequently and will go back to staying in our usual hotel. attached photo of duck dish advertised v what was presented.
Clean and spacious room, great amenities and super friendly and attentive staff. Room service is impressive. They readily got us everything we wanted. We stayed for 3 nights and did have a great time. Will definitely come back here again. Thank you.
We stayed for a week at this resort. The pools are incredible and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. This resort is remote. If you wish to go to Hua Hin during your visit it will cost 900 baht return. We enjoyed the quietness of the resort. One thing that should be improved are the beds. Very uncomfortable!!!
The hotel is really big and beautiful. It is old, but they did a good maintenance job in my opinion. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, but nobody is swimming because of the jelly fish (rainy season). The beach is quiet, very good to walk around, i enjoyed the beach very much. The room is pretty much the same as the pictures provided by the hotel. Big sofa is my favorite, i can take a nap there. The downside is the location. If you dont have a car, you might not want this hotel. It is far from everywhere, no eating place around the hotel, so you better book with breakfast. Overall, if i have a car, i will stay there again.
I stayed here for 1 night with the group. The location is good, have direct access to beach, and of course they have sea view room. Bus can’t stop in front of the lobby, and guest have to bring their own luggage (the track is heavy) Lobby is not too big but enough for maximum 60paxs. Breakfast was good! They also have some menu with pork😅 The room? It’s huge! They have big sofa, balcon, also bathup. And, last but not least, the staff is really helpful!! Thankyou for the service! Best Regards, Kezia Magdalena
The place is amazing! The staff and the amenities are great. Rooms are very spacious, clean and breakfast is included. If you are looking for a place far from the crowd, this is it! I will come back again!
Not directly beachfront, you have to cross a little street to the public beach. The beach it not nice like other places like koh samui. But we spent the time at one of the 3 pools. Service is outstanding, we had a great time over the holidays. Breakfast was the best I ever had. European, Chinese and Thai to choose from. Chefs to prepare fresh for you. The restaurants were great too but we were the only guests. Most people went downtown for dinner. About 20 minutes walk. Rooms big and modern. Nice view over the ocean. Guest Manager speaks German and is very helpful. We enjoyed the stay very much, extremely good for the money.
We stayed here for one week with our 11 month old son. The hotel was quite quiet at the time so we enjoyed almost exclusive use of the pools which were absolutely brilliant. Breakfast is great as is room service food. Despite a frosty welcome when we visited a couple of days before our booking, we enjoyed excellent customer service for our stay along with a hassle free switch to a sea view room- which offered a very different experience from the garden view. The hotel is quite remote as the last one on the street so it is nice and quiet. Only a ten min walk to some very nice little bars and restaurants. B&P’s is the closest and the people there are wonderful. We spend a lot of time there and really enjoyed the staff and food. A bit further down plenty more to be found offering good value and friendly service. Soi bus station is 300 bht in a taxi. Bit of a red light district if you’re in to that kind of thing. On the negative side the beach front is not great but the pools more than make up for this. We only tried the Italian restaurant on site which was a strange experience. Unreasonable priced and average food so we didn’t try the others. Really good stay and reasonable priced accommodation. Ideal for young family who want to spend lots of time at the pool.
Great property in Cha Am. Room is quite big and clean. Swimming pool on the main building and residential pool area. You can walk to the beach from the hotel that a few minutes. Staff is friendly. I have lunch at Fulue that big bite of Dim Sum and good taste. Recommend this hotel to you guys
The pros : Big and well appointed rooms and georgous views if you do have a seaview room. Hotel is very well kept and looks great. There are three clear water swiming pools suiting all your moons for different times of the day. There is a a private beach, opposite the hotel with lounging chairs on a lawn around coconut trees which is also well kept. A good place to relax. The sand is clean and I did enjoy my time swimming in the ocean. There are four restaurants on the premises. We tried the Italian and the Chinese. Both were rather posh with higher end prices but it had exellent food. The Maitre D at the Italian does a great job and shown to have a great patience with some weird young Chinese guests. The buffet breakfast buffet is served in the main restaurant and comprise of a vast choice of pretty much everything. No complains there at all. The hotel staff is exellent, especialy PAT who welcomes the guests in English. There is also a lady at the front desk who is a french speaker and who does just as equally a great job. The Main dining room manager is also quick at fixing issues or answering any queries. The bad stuff. Don't bother booking a deluxe mountain view, because it is in fact an abandonned construction site view....and also do not book via Agoda, because it will cost you 1000 baths to upgrade to a sea view versus just 300 baths if you had booked with the hotel direct. The walk in rate is in fact much better than Agoda rates, no contests there. Pool bar prices are just way too much. I am ok paying a premium in a luxury hotel but 150 baths for a small beer can, no thanks. Even when on promotions, it made more sense to walk to the shop which is just outside and pay the normal prices. We ordered a pizza by the pool, it came in a plate, no cutleries, no napkins or condiments. No nothing...I had to walk myself to the Italian restaurant to ask the Maitre D for a pepper mill, which he obliged to right away. However, my advice to the F&B manager is to retrain the pool bar staff member who was on duty during lunch time on the 19 th of Feb and who also was happier to play with his phone rather and paying attentions to the details. If you are in a wheel chair or have a baby stroller, this hotel will be difficult to go around and obviously nothing was planned in that sense to cover this essential topic. Too many stairs between the pools and no lifts at all other than the main ones located in the hotel lobby. In a nut shell, This hotel might not be a full on 5 stars as per say, but a solid 4 stars still. Hotel guests comprise mainly of quiet Scandinavians tourists, a large amount of thai people, thai group tours but also of course of a fair amount of annoying chinese guests who can't seem to behave decently. However it was not too bad during our stay. Room wise my advice is to either book a seaview room or a garden view which is closer to the main pool and beach. Avoid the mountain view like the plague, all you will see is an ugly construction site. Be aware ! Book direct, rates are better and include breakfast. I can totally recomand this place especially if you are after a quiet and quality place to relax.
