Stayed here during Hurricane Harvey but checked in 2 days before it even rained. I moved rooms 3 times and look how filthy the rooms were. They were price gouging, trying to charge me the "weekend rate" on a Monday. The GM had his family there and they were eating all the food they wanted, while I was starving because they were selling these tiny lasagnas, for example, for way too much. One morning I came down at 11am and the breakfast supervisor was so condescending when I asked if there was any way he could get a little box of cereal. He rudely asked, "WHY DIDNT YOU COME DOWN FOR BREAKFAST?!" (It was half an hour after breakfast had closed, cmon!) In times like this, you come together and help each other. Marriott has very poor training in these situations.

We had a wonderful visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great.

Good location to NRG Stadium for the event. Room was adequate but nothing great. Carpet was dirty and stained. There are two elevators which seem to stop on every other floor whether you are going up or coming down and they are not air-conditioned. The free breakfast is very chaotic as many people are crammed into a small space trying to get to the food. For the money, this place is what I expected though.

Close to NRG shuttle took us to the game staff is accommodating to visiting teams and home team Would stay again and recommend

I had a comfortable, safe stay. Amenities were good as was the breakfast. My only suggestion for improvement is to perhaps replace the carpet near the window, as there was a noticeable smell of mildew. Nevertheless, I would stay there again.

Close to NRG stadium. There was shuttle to and from Rodeo, but could have walked. Beds weren't very comfortable. Room was clean.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and the hotel was very clean.

I routinely stay at various Marriott properties when I travel for business and when I was recently in Houston for personal reasons, I was looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay, this Spring Hill Suites was a little pricey particularly for a prepaid room, but it was close to where I needed to be. The first thing that I noticed was that the hotel was a little shabby. You could probably charitably call it shopworn. The carpets were dingy, the hall facing room doors looked like they had been painted by a cheap contractor who took no time in preparation (drips and uneven places in the paint) etc. The popcorn ceilings in the bathroom were flaking (a bit of the popcorn coating fell on my head during a shower one morning) and the caulking around the tub was cracked and discolored in places. Internet service was slow on my floor, if I had been traveling on business and needed a good connection, I would not have been able to work in my room. Internet coverage was good in the common area of the hotel. A major portion of the parking lot at the front of the hotel was closed when I came in one evening around 10:00. Supposedly for my safety according to the front desk, but I had to walk in the mostly dark from the far end of the parking lot to get back to the entrance. Still can't figure that out. The furniture in the room was uncomfortable, and the TV remote undecipherable. Finally, only one very slow elevator was working most of the time I was there.

I spent 6 nights there while seeing doctors at MDAndersen. Very nice staff, clean rooms and good location.

no hassel check in, BIG TEXASbSIZE rooms!! very friendly staff and excellent breakfast

Great hotel, friendly staff and clean room. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The microwave in 427 was not working. Not enough work stations. beyond that rooms were great. Would stay again.

Overall experience was good. I really enjoyed the view of the sport arenas surrounding the hotel.

Great service. Wonderful, warm breakfast, complementary. Very clean.

But it's still a great place to stay at, It deserves a 3.5-4 star at least. It was enjoyable and my family enjoyed their stay as well as the pool. We stayed for 2 nights, and breakfast was nice an simple. It's a great place to stay for a decent price.

Over all it was good, the location was not what I expected. I would rather have stayed in a better side of town. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was good.
