Nice room

Easy check in, spacious and clean room. The sheets were a bit scratchy and we needed hooks in the bathroom or a towel bar. We loved the new bathtub! The heat and AC worked well.

Needs more than a little TLC

The towels were stained; the bathroom wall was dirty, mirror stained? dusty headboard, beds were questionable. The door had no safety mechanisms other than a safety chain. Bathroom door know was loose and falling off. Not worth the price nor the attitude of management and staff when brought to their attention.

A fun time with good people

I just thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had a personal mixup to start, but the staff - as well as going along with the self-deprecating humor - were friendly, fun, and just welcoming. I felt comfortable all around, and will keep Pleasant Valley on my personal "stay at" list. I can honestly say that room 64 has the "old-school" charm and character that you could expect out of a small town motel. When I found out that wasn't the room I was assigned to, and went into my actual room, I ended up being more comfortable than I would have imagined. Oh - and my wife always makes me mention this - beds were comfy, and pillows were great! Great place, good people, and fun staff. Thank you for putting up with me! LOL

Easy check in. Front desk was nice and helpful. The railroad is across the street and it was a little noisy. Beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets in the room if needed.

This little dump is the most expensive place I've seen for a 2 or 3 star place in a long time. Prince is $50 a night cheaper for better rooms. Even paid less in the Okanagan. Not worth the cost by far. No wonder there was only 3 cars in the entire parking lot.
