The host was very kind, easy to reach, and consistently responded quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated. Communication was definitely a strong point of this stay.Overall cleanliness is the main reason for my three-star rating. The bedrooms are spread across three separate floors, and in the third-floor bedroom (with the king bed), the sheets had noticeable dark red stains that appeared to be either makeup or possibly blood. While it was clear the linens had been washed (there was a bleach smell), the stains remained, which was concerning. The walls and floors throughout the home could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning.The property does have a non-smoking policy, which is great; however, the garage/game room smelled like cigarette smoke and had visible ash on the pool table and floor. Thankfully, the rest of the house did not have this issue.On a positive note, the host did a great job providing soaps and amenities, and the upstairs shower was excellent. We didn’t spend much time in the home overall, as we checked in around 1:30 a.m. and left by 10:00 a.m., so our experience was brief.In my opinion, this property may be a good fit for groups like college students or spring break travelers, but it may not be the best choice for families with small children.
