A LOT of room for improvement

The gruff owner needs to realise that she is in the hospitality business, not doing you a favour by allowing you to stay at her hotel. I stayed there for 8 nights and had the following inconveniences: Breakfast was not provided the first day, even though I had paid for it (“I’m not starting to do breakfasts again until tomorrow”); my room was not cleaned on Sunday (“the chambermaid doesn’t work on Sundays”); the first time I used the shower all kinds of black bits of dirt and fungus came out of it; and when I asked if I could have some shirts ironed, I was told that they would cost 30p a shirt but was subsequently charged £1.50/shirt. I couldn’t wait to check out, and would have done after the first or second night if my stay had not already been prepaid in full.

Friendly and Efficient Service from all staff - perfect room / bathroom layout and good breakfast. Parking entrance is tight and spaces can get full. Excellent location close to Horsham centre - but that came with a little road noise affecting sleep. Overall good value for money for our one night stay.

We stayed at Springfields as we were going to a wedding. The church was across the road from the hotel, so a perfect location. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel as we arrived early morning. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was great too, and set us up for the day. We'd definitely recommend Springfield
