Great stopover before flight.

Great hotel and very reasonably priced considering its location. I asked for a quiet room on a high floor and that’s exactly what I got! Hotel is quite new and very clean with a good bar and outdoor area for a nice drink in the sunshine. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and hot and the restaurant clean and tidy with the very latest coffee and toast machines. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Checkout time is midday which is fantastic if you have an afternoon flight. Can’t fault it, definitely recommended for the price.

Air conditioning wouldn’t stay on so had to get up 3 times in night to switch on again - set to 20 as was boiling out (33) but just kept stopping. So crappy sleep and the place was dirty - looked like a cup of coffee had been spilled down the back of the bed and just left on bed frame and carpet. Gross.

The hallways looked dirty and outdated around the room doors, and the room was quite dustu and musty. Bed and pillows are not comfortable.

There AC was not properly working or non-existing in the room, which made impossible to sleep given the sweltering summer. The hotels need to be renovated asap. Even the toilets did not worked properly and some light were not working in tje room as well. The only good thing wad the food, which was delicious and reasonable priced.

Convenience near to Gatwick Airport and the shuttle service to the hotel for £4.50 one way or £8.00 round trip. Room was clean and the hotel have a restaurant with a menu with razonable prices. I don't like the front desk service, they were not friendly and including the shuttle driver, he was very rude.

Several Repairs Needed to Plumbing/Shower

The shower head kept falling down, so we had to hold it in one hand and attempt to shower one-handed. The toilet wouldn't flush. Thank goodness we didn’t have to poop. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable.
