Welcome to Nature Coast Cottage, a completely renovated waterfront home in the heart of Homosassa. Rebuilt after Hurricane Helene, this beautiful home combines modern comforts with the charm of Old Florida and offers everything you need for the perfect fishing, scalloping, or family vacation.

Located on a deep freshwater canal with direct, unimpeded Gulf access, you’ll enjoy stunning river views and daily visits from manatees, dolphins, mullet, turtles, and countless birds. Whether you’re relaxing with your morning coffee or watching the sunset after a day on the water, this property was designed to help you slow down and enjoy Florida’s Nature Coast.

Inside, you’ll find a bright, open floor plan with two spacious master suites, beautifully updated bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen ready for family meals. The home comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests and offers multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, including a Florida room and a screened porch overlooking the water.

For boaters and anglers, this is the perfect home base. The property features an extensive seawall, three boat slips, a covered boathouse (lift not operational), a fish-cleaning station, and plenty of room to dock multiple boats. You’re only minutes from the Homosassa River, the Gulf of Mexico, waterfront restaurants, marinas, and some of Florida’s best fishing and world-famous scalloping grounds.

One feature guests absolutely love is the commercial ice machine, so you’ll always have plenty of fresh ice for coolers, drinks, and long days on the boat—no last-minute trips to the store.

After a day on the water, rinse off in one of the multiple showers, enjoy the convenience of dual water heaters, fire up the grill, and spend the evening making memories with family and friends.

The home was just as described in the listing and has a beautiful backyard on the canal to sit and hang out. The industrial ice maker was a plus and the paddle boards and lilly pad walking float were fun also! Very clean! Would stay here again for sure!

Our stay was everything we could have wanted and more. The house was very clean, large enough to fit our family and had so many wonderful additions. Great Place in Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. We really liked the the recliners after a long day of sightseeing. The house is in great shape in a great location. Just a couple of miles from Homosassa State park. The Margarita Grill is just across the bridge and has great food. The only regret we had is we wished we brought the whole family.

Scallop Season Getaway

This property was perfect! We really loved having an ice machine, being right on the water with places to tie up our boats, and the cleanliness was perfect! The paddle board was a hit too! We definitely recommend this property, communication with the property manager was great as well.

Great place for a vacation!

The property was just as advertised! Great place for family vacation. Many things to do close by. Great for fisherman too. Having an ice machine is a big plus when going fishing or just out on the boat for the day. House was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed!
