Garden Getaway at Bear Creek Winery, w/ fire pit, koi pond, and hot tub

Soak in the atmosphere at a rare Alaskan winery. Wander the elegant gardens or enjoy the breathtaking view of Grewingk Glacier as you grill on your deck. You can enjoy our firepit in our gardens or take a dip in the stone hot tub. Bear Creek Winery is open daily, and guests receive complimentary wine tasting.

This suite comes equipped with a private bath and sitting area, as well as a flat screen TV, outdoor gas grill, and access to a hot tub and fire pit. Our suite includes a complimentary bottle of wine, Alaskan-made chocolate, local K-bay Coffee, and breakfast vouchers to a few local restaurants.

All the wine you may want to purchase to enjoy in your suite is available just a few steps out your door.

Gaze down from your deck at the gardens, group fire pit, and koi pond. Bear Creek Winery harvests fruit from our own gardens to use in our production. Free, no sign-up tours of the production facility (an easy walk 1/4 mile up the road) are Saturdays at 2 pm.

Because of our meticulous gardens we have a strict no pets policy. We also ask that groups with younger children consider that the grounds have an adult, romantic atmosphere. Minimum age of children is twelve years old.

Check in time is between 3-6pm. Bear Creek Winery closes daily at 6 pm and we prefer to give you a proper welcome orientation and so there is no ability for self check-in. There is a $50 late check in fee if arriving after hours. Please contact us for more details. Check out is 11 am.
Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Change of towels is available on request.

Great Romantic Stay-Cation

Amazing! Wow! Squeaky clean but no cleaning odors. Comfy bed. Inspiring and soothing mural by local artist. Novel hot tub— super clean, simple, quiet, deep, one perfect powerful jet to takes the knots out. Budding aspen, immaculate grounds, kind/happy staff and proprietor. Again I say wow! Feel so grateful for this resource and experience.

What a nice place for a get away!

We will be back! Not only was the room very nice and clean, the setting was great! And to the wine was delicious - definitely make time to do the wine tasting if you stay here. The brand new mural in the room was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, grounds very nice and feeding the fish in the koi pond right outside the unit was a nice touch too! We will be back!
