Fantastic Location and Views!

Stayed two nights in Suite #30. By far the best room in the house! Loved the private balcony overlooking the ocean. Saw bald eagles and people beach combing. Nice easy walk to the beach from the property. Beautiful landscaped grounds, amazing and friendly hosts. Can say any negatives about the place. The shared kitchen is big plus Dinning and living room are spacious. Gas grille was a plus as we cooked freshly caught halibut there. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!!

The Inn is lovely, the views are breathtaking and so is that ocean sound. The hospitality is second to none as they ensured I was comfortable and taken care of. The hot tub was magical when you couple it with the view. Just what you need to relax!

We absolutely LOVED how it felt very homey. It didnt feel hotel-like at all. It was amazing and to wake up and have a gorgeous view. The only thing was that maybe have another fire pit and to maybe put a canopy over the hot tub incase it rains, which in our case it did. But it was fabulpus and we will definitely visit again!

Beautiful, quiet property w expansive ocean views

First trip after COVID started, and we decided on Alaska (hesitantly). We stayed at Ocean House based on reviews and photos. We had Suite 4, which was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The ocean view was extraordinary and downright inspiring, and the room furnishings were beautiful and cozy. Perfect for a couple looking for ultimate privacy. The owner communicated promptly with us by text with check-in instructions and a door code, so it was no contact (we were actually a little disappointed, hoping to connect with others after being on social lockdown for months, but I think with this being a condo type property, this is probably what they always do.) Due to COVID, there was also no housekeeping service. Wasn’t a big deal as we were only there for 2 nights, and the things we needed were supplied. Note that there are a number of stairs to climb to access certain rooms (#4 included) from the exterior entry (we had a couple of really heavy bags so this made checking in a bit of a struggle, but that’s my fault for overpacking- just be aware!) Despite being isolated (again, something I think most others would really enjoy- especially those on a romantic trip- but I was there with only my 8 year old son, so definitely a different vibe!), we thought the room was absolutely lovely and would go back again and stay at this property if ever in Homer. Close enough to Homer Spit and to town, and easy to find with GPS just off main highway. Recommended.

Ocean House Condos

The facilities were immaculate and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room has an electric fireplace that looks nearly like a real fire. The hot tub was always ready and the temperature comfortable. The views are Alaska stunning The location was convenient close to the spit, Safeway & several nice restaurants. The weekend farmers market is an easy walk. I highly recommend Ocean House****+

location was great, bathroom lighting was too bright, had to remove bulbs, kitchen did not have enough light and could not figure out how to turn on fireplace, no instructions anywhere. upstairs bedroom was hot and downstairs bedroom was missing a screen so bugs came in.

Beautiful setting by the water . Quiet. Rooms nicely decorated and comfy. Had a problem with a barking dog-got it immediately fixed. Only concerns: found the wine glasses hidden away-dusty,dirty unusable; I thought the bathroom looked clean but wasn’t-I have a great sense of smell and thought about some bleach!

Spectacular ocean view from our room. We really enjoyed our stay at the ocean house. Rooms were beautifully decorated and bed very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cute studio with a gorgeous view of the Homer Spit, ocean, and mountains. We would highly recommend and just a short drive to many restaurants.

We are so happy we stayed here! Beautiful grounds, with a wonderful hot tub, spectacular views, cozy, and quiet. It was a great location and I would definitely stay here many times again!
