We have stayed at this hotel on several trips. The staff are very friendly though their English could be better. The beds we have slept on are very large and comfortable. We also enjoy sitting in the comfortable chairs on the shady verandah watching the boats on the river though some vegetation could be removed on the fence. The A/C worked well. The negatives are the TV didn't work, the fridge switches off when you leave the room, all the bathroom floors need to be retiled with tiles that can be easily cleaned as the floor collects dirt. Some of the other rooms appear to need a lot of maintenance. Breakfast is basic.
amazing place, I spend 1 week there and I really enjoy every-day there, specially the attention of The, who is the receptionist girl, she made my stay really easy. rooms are very good, and with good space to chill.
We originally booked 5 nights here but left after the first night to seek better accommodations. We passed by this place twice before we realized it was the hotel we were looking for. From the street it appears to be a run down vacant former hotel. But this is in fact the Waterside Resort and Spa, although I'm not sure if there is or was a spa here ever. Our room was large with a shared balcony to the adjacent room with working AC and private bath. However there was no wifi in the room and worked marginally at best at the reception area. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly however their English is very limited. The hotel is just across the bridge from old town and the morning noise from the market, which starts at 5 am, carries right across water. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not it. We found much better accommodations for the same price with breakfast included. This place has potential and looks like it may have even been a great hotel some time ago. However now it looks like a derelict ghost town hotel run by squatters.
Exterior hotel appears fine, however, many problems interiors. Had to change room twice and after 3 nights stay, had to check out and find a more comfortable hotel. AC didn't work well, asked for fan, fan didn't work well. Extremely poor shower/ water pressure in both shower and running water..... so disappointing Did not have any meals at hotel. Definitely not recommended.....
Nice big rooms staff we're nice but the owners need to spend money .Could do with a pool. No restaurant when I was there and the didn't understand water pressure . Nice walk to the market and the told me 3k walk to beaches Only paid $22 USD which seemed about right to me .
I only spent 6 nights there after a couple of weeks elsewhere. Pity as it was a QUIET relief after the previous hotel. No roosters, scooters or noisy neighbours. Due to it being set in its own large gardens next to the river and opposite the Hoi An market on the other bank. (5 minute stroll) Rooms were clean, large and air-conditioned with outside patio. Only negatives were the weak bathroom vanity water pressure that strangely did not seem to effect the shower too much. Room rate was negotiated to 1st floor USD$18 per night and ground floor USD$17 without breakfast. Cannot comment on breakfast as I never saw what was on offer. As you cross the bridge from Hoi An it is the first entrance on your right. (Opposite the Riverside Resort) Be sure to check out Mr Duc's Newlife family Bar (First street side building on your right after the bridge) as you walk down to the hotel's entrance and HUGE foyer. Great value and so close to the delights of Hoi An itself.
we was here for two nights and was told we could stay here for 450.000 a night with breakfast. But when we was going to pay, we had to pay 36.000 more. It's not that much, but still irritating when we was told a other price. The hotel in its self is okey, quiet and chill place.
Pros: Room is nice, large bed, open space and air. Cons: Bathroom water is really weak, we had to boil water from the kettle to have a bath. Strange noise during the night. They let people in the party run the noise until midnight without any rule/ policy of the community. They don't clean the room and change the supplies until asked. TV cab is not paid. Every requested has to wait for like 5' to have the answer. They let only one first day staff to handle the whole hotel with lack of training and it took more than 30' to complete the check out process.
We arrived in hoi an after coming down from hue with our bikes and found this quite place just around the corner of Hoi An s old town. The hotel is run by a viatnamese family it has great potential but being in the hotel business myself since years I must say you definitely can make much more out of this hotel. The public areas are huge and could fit a great bar or restaurant. The location is great, the rooms are big and nicely furnished and each has a big balcony. However it's dusty in the rooms and the bath room can be cleaner but it's still acceptable and u can look over it if u are not to picky. for the price of 20 $ a night including breakfast served at the room and friendly stuff we enjoyed our stay for 1 night.
The taxi brought me here but finally, I am grateful for trusting him. This villa offers real experience of Vietnam's countryside. They built up the water wheel, the big tree and everything you know about Vietnam culture. It gives me comfortable atmosphere and you'll find yourself peacefully settled down here for sure. The cost is average in Hoi An (30USD/night). The staff was reliable in consulting me tours and shops around Hoi An. Highly recommend
