There is construction in the hotel Drilling and hammering every morning including all day on Sunday from 7am Staff doesn’t speak a word of english Cannot get coffee or cleaning service to change the bath towels

This hotel used to be called Thao Dien Village and was much larger. Presumably due to.Covid it is reduced to a single building with no riverfront access. Still a charming place and great value, although reception was sometimes unattended and the breakfast, while free, was far from a highlight. I would stay again, but it's not the property it once was

Beautiful hotel resort

I couldn't feel more at peace, and relaxed. I found this place to be very well maintained, as it is perfectly merged inside a giant garden. The staff consistently greets you with a smile, and always willing to meet your needs.

Room ŵas clean and comfortable but smaller than I expect in Vietnam. It was also very dark, with just one small window. Nice pool and good choice on menu.

Fabulous hotel in a quiet location

Set In a quiet location with the Saigon river flowing right by the outside restaurants this hotel is excellent. The friendly staff were very attentive and some spoke good English. Taxis were readily available from outside the hotel and a 20 minute journey took you into the heart of Ho Chi Min City. Would deffinately stay there again.

Wonderful stay in Ho Chi Minh!

Thao Dien Boutique Hotel is absolutely stunning. Its villas are located right on the river with beautiful views of palm trees and passing boats and the hotel property is covered in gorgeous trees and plants and fountains making you feel like you are not in the city at all. The pool area is lovely as are its multiple outdoor dining areas which serve excellent food. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The spa was wonderful as well. Considering how crowded and hectic the city center can be, this was a wonderful way to stay in Ho Chi Minh City and still get a resort-like experience. It was a quick and affordable cab ride into the city center, and the neighborhood around the hotel is lovely with many shops, restaurants, and cafes. We are already looking forward to staying here again.

Thao Dien Boutique Hotel was great to stay because of the location in the An Phu area. Along the river, with a nice pool and cafe area overlooking the river. A good lunch area with great food. Villa song is right next door for other food options. If visiting HCMC this is a good option for a getaway.

Relaxing and friendly getaway, very much enjoyed!

We had an amazing stay at Thao Dien Boutique Hotel. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful at all times. They helped us to rent a scooter and arranged all taxis. The restaurants and onsite spa were great and had a lovely atmosphere. The location was a small way from the city centre, but this was perfect as it was quiet and relaxing, and meant we could use the scooter to drive into all areas. We would definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Perfect for relaxing holiday

We had booked to stay here for one week but ended up staying two because my partner was ill and deemed unfit to fly. Thao Dien Boutique Hotel were so helpful when this happened, helping us find medical assistance, assisting me with taxis each day to get to the hospital to visit my partner and looking after us/helping us make new arrangements when our plans had to change and when my partner was back at the hotel but still not too well (his illness was not related to the fact we were in Vietnam). Before my partner fell ill and at the end of our trip, they also assisted us with confirming transfer arrangements and tour bookings. The food and drinks were excellent, there is a brilliant relaxed, but luxurious ambience and the location beside the Saigon River was perfect. The pools are lovely and the rooms, gardens and restaurant very pleasant. The hotel is close enough to other bars and restaurants if you want a change too. You can get a boat into the city centre from the hotel pier and tour companies will pick you up by boat from here too. All in all, it was excellent and we'd stay here again if we re-visited Saigon (Ho Chi Minh)

Lovely Hotel, shame about the Events.

It really is a lovely place but! We chose to stay here for some peace and quiet after a couple of hectic days in District 1. I suppose we should have expected some disturbance with the Vietnamese New Year coming soon but the 2 nights that we stayed were spoiled by the number of events held on the river frontage. There was a card in the room apologizing about the party going on until 11 pm and a promise to keep the noise to a minimum which seemed a nice touch so we took a taxi to a local restaurant that night. The following days we lost count of the other various events including an extremely loud children's party.

Thao Dien Hotel

Stunning hotel... Peaceful but within minutes of Saigon inner city. Staff were amazing: friendly, helpful, knowledgable and oh so welcoming. Great facilities... Highly recommend Hoi An tours which are associated with the hotel. Food is delicious but way more expensive than local restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel to singles, couples, families and business travellers. Vietnam: Beautiful country. Humble and friendly people. Tragic history. Amazing sights. Wonderful beaches. Fabulous weather. Great value for money. Can not recommend highly enough... Everyone should add this country to their bucket list!
