Its a normal modern city hotel. The room was clean with a big bath room and shower. The safety box was a bit strange, we could not open it again after closing because it didnt work right. But the staff was really helpful. I had to ask for toilet paper because the cleaning service didnt fill up anything after cleaning and we already had no toilet paper at all.. The breakfast was okay with a lot variety.
A decent 3star hotel for the price, location, and moderate amenities, but first, a few things to note... 1) Liberty Saigon Greenview is a 1 minute walk from Bui Vien St, so that is cool. 2) Do to "Vietnamese Law", an unmarried Vietnamese women is NOT allowed to stay in the same hotel room as a foreigner, and this hotel enforces that, even though there is nothing (as of late Feb 2017) posted either in the room or at the front desk stating that this is not allowed. But, this hotel will let you pay extra money in order for your guest to stay. Hmmmmmmmm. I refused to pay since nothing was posted and they waved the fee. Not a big fan of this... 3) There is breakfast, but it's not great. Good enough, but not great. Good luck...
Stayed for one night and liked the hotel very much. Large, light and bright, modern room. Really comfortable bed. A balcony in the room. Great location, good breakfast. Oikein mukava hotelli. Huone suuri, valoisa ja moderni. Erittäin mukava sänky. Huoneessa parveke. Loistosijainti. Hyvä aamiainen.
We booked 4 nights, all nights were extremely noisy, loud music till after 2 AM. After we complained, they said that after 2 nights it would be quiet, not so. The problem is that ALL of their rooms are facing the street side and that there are loud speakers just in front of the hotel to entertain the people in the park opposite the building. The bed was bouncy, the rooms were small, wifi more off than on, no place to put your clothes. Bathroom was large, breakfast was ok. People were nice hence the 2 stars in stead of one.
All rooms overlook the main road and currently a very loud band is still playing across the road at 1am. Shame as hotel otherwise good but better choices to be had elsewhere in the city unless you like all night party
Very modern and comfortable hotel, good located near pubs area but we did not notice noise from outside. Fantastic breakfast, one of the best of my whole Vietnamese trip. Super recommendable! Friendly people at reception.
Who wont love this hotel. The location is perfect. There are lots of restaurants, shops, tour agencies and money changer within the vicinity. Beside the hotel is the highest foreign exchange money changer in the city. It is in front of a mall that has food court that serves at reasonable price. The shopping stalls are way cheaper than ben tanh market. If you want to go to ben tanh, it is just a 10 min walk. Highland coffee is also just outside d hotel. Another good point is starbucks just 2 min walk fr hotel. The breakfast is something to look forward to with lots of fruits. Across d street is a weekend market that serves all the street food of vietnam. Lastly the front desks are all accommodating and friendly.
Great location. The price was very reasonable too. The rooms are small but clean and modern. We had a corner room (Room 202). Quite noisy with the street but quietens down later in the evening. This hotel feels very safe and secure. The breakfast was included in the price. Quite basic but sufficient. Fresh omelettes cooked to your taste and a selection of pastries and cold cuts. I'd have no problem staying here again
I stayed in 3 different rooms at the Liberty Greenview. The first night I booked on my own before my tour started. I booked with Expedia in advance and got a great rate. The following nights were booked through my tour. Street noise is unavoidable if you stay on a lower floor. If you are on a higher floor, ask for a room that doesn't face the street to avoid the loud honking along Pham Ngu Lao Street. Otherwise, bring earplugs to drown out noise. There are two elevators in this hotel and they each have separate buttons to bring them down. The hallways are not air conditioned as they have access to an inner courtyard. The rooms' electricity is activated by putting the room key in the slot by the door. There is a slight issue with the showers flooding slightly but the hot water was plentiful. The staff at the hotel is very friendly. Breakfast was good. There were international and local offerings. I really enjoyed the bowl of noodles in the morning, fresh fruit, and strong Vietnamese coffee. The doormen were great in helping find SIM cards for purchase, walking us across the busy street, and keeping an eye on our luggage. This hotel is in the touristy backpackers' area which stays rowdy through the evenings, but I felt safe walking around and didn't have any issues.
We walked in by "accident " somehow, i saw this hotel previously here on TA but we had a reservation in another place, luckily the other place was horrible, and even more luckily we didn't pay for the room yet, so we ran out immediately and come at the Liberty asking for the price and to see the room they had available......well, it was definitely LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!! Beautiful new corner room at the 6th floor, spacious, with all facilities, and a huge bathroom with a even bigger shower.....everything seemed new and white, from the sheets to the towels to the walls.......the staff also have been really really nice and helpful, and a special mention goes to the breakfast......there are lots of typical sweet Vietnamese stuff ( other than obviously all the western choices ) and having a teeeerrible sweet tooth, it was heaven for me!!!! All the above for around 40€, that was the price we had just walking in, for a 3-night stay in February. Super top!!!!!
