Blue Diamond Hotel

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The room itself was a little strange, pretty small and now window, but it was clean and had everything I needed. The hotel was nice, decent buffet breakfast and other amenities and in a great location - right next to the Ben Thanh Market, a couple of blocks from the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum and easy walking distance from a number of other sites and restaurants and such. Would stay here again.

A small hotel with clean room and helpful, polite staffs. Best location very near Ben Thanh market, I would recommend Blue Diamond for anyones and the room rate was very reasonable compares to others.

We stay in a spacious luxuy room. However, closet is too small just enough for one person. Bathroon door is too close to bed, bad room design i guess. Staffs are excelent very helpfull when you ask for help. Foot massage is provided on property but not skillful as many other places.

Good location, staffs friendly, room nice but some of them smell funny I have to change couple time , so far I'm happy with it , this is my third time stay there hightly recommend

The customer service is so horrible and un-professional. The hotel employees never know to say Hi and smile to welcome the Guest customers. The security guards also play as Bell Boys and treat the customer so rude without any respect and even yell and shout to the customers. It was even worst that there was no such Supervisor Lead who can Stand out to resolve the situation peaceful, but just end up argument and violent act. There is no such hospitality service skills have been shown for the professionalism of the hotel suppose to be. I was so frustrated with the un-acceptable behavior of the motocycle keeper whose name Nhân that I would like to move out the hotel right away on the first night if the hotel willing to refund for me the rest of other nights. It was such a nightmare to deal with those people who does not have a vision of what customer service mean ?

This was a super affordable hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Not the most gorgeous of places, but attractive enough. Within walking distance to the Ben Thanh market. A pretty safe feeling area for my husband and I to walk at night. Plenty of reputable cabs running by if you need them. The location is a little stinky, but that's mostly because you're in an area where lots of fruit vendors set up, so go figure, hot weather will create rotting fruit sometimes. If that bothers you, then just don't go to Ho Chi Minh City at all. Not a place to be if you're sensitive to new smells, foods, sights, and experiences. No biggie. Hotel does a great breakfast with local foods and some western foods. Very filling. Staff was completely accommodating. They set up a couple tours for us the night before we went on them. We'd also booked a smaller (cheaper) room for just the daytime for our last day so we can have access to a shower and bed to nap in before a late night flight, however the staff just told us to stay in the bigger nicer room we'd been staying in. It worked out great. No problems at all. Great travel hotel in the city. Safe. Clean. If you can get over the street below and some of the new sights, smells, and sounds, it's a great hotel.

Good location and value for money. A bit understaffed. Great Breakfast! Would reccomend to everyone.

located very close the Ben Than market, this hotel makes a good option as a base to visit Ho Chi Minh. The rooms are a little dated but it is clean and the service is friendly. Breakfast is pretty good too.

Being located in district one is a must. Being close enough to two separate bar strips by only a 15 minute walk yet far enough away that you don't deal with a bunch of drunk people is the way to go. The hotel has a great massage parlor which I used daily. Two thumbs up.

I came to HCM city many times but this time I stay at this hotel where location satisfy me, Convenien location, walk to every attaction in centre. Saigon. I read review from previous travelers and asked for the room has no window, very quiet. Breakfast very good, no clomplain with any choice to choose and chang daily. The only complain I have is room has 1 small closet ,has no drawer to store my clothes. I have to leave all my stuff in my luggage, other than that I would recommend this hotel.

We weren't able to stay the full 4 nights we had booked so they upgraded us to a bigger room and provided a wonderful breakfast and service. This was the perfect location for us since we only had a couple days to explore. Enjoy your trip!

Good location ,close to Ben Thanh Market.Staff very helpfull . Good value

This is our second stay at this hotel and we couldn't falter it. Prime position, great spacious rooms with clean bathroom. Excellent service, breakfast included with lots of variety. Beautiful people who manage this place. Please don't forget to have a foot masage there. That is a must.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are fine and the free breakfast delicious. The big attraction is the closeness to so many interesting places. This hotel has also a footmassage service on the first floor. When you book a room you get one complimentery ticket to go there. This massage includes your legs, arms, back and neck. Highly recommendable. Actually I just booked therefor the end of March next year.
