Great medium-sized hotel in a perfect location! 2 blocks from the Independence Palace or the War Remnants museum. Easy walk to Ben Thanh. Co-op supermarket around the corner. Great selection of restaurants. We had a garden suite room, which was a good size. The balcony was nice with a table and chairs and outdoor tub. Since the garden suites are only available on the 2nd floor, the tub feels a little exposed to the public. The pool deck and bar are on the 11th and 12th floors and provide a good view over District 1. Watching the sun set over the city with a couple beers was nice. At the other end of the spectrum, practicing yoga on the upper Sun deck at dawn was wonderful. Note to the staff: keeping a couple yoga mats in the gym would be much more preferable to using a towel as a mat on the wood decks. The breakfast availability was good. Options catered to their Western (eggs to order, pastries, cold cereal), Chinese (fried rice, bao, etc) and Vietnamese (noodle bowls) guests. We also took advantage of the airport transfer. The hotel staff was very accommodating and made the process easy, which was welcome after 23 hours of travel. We found all of the staff to be very pleasant, able to provide help in English, and willing to share tips about the neighborhood. We a very enjoyable stay.
