Excellent location

This location is right next to Saijo station - an excellent place to stay with quick access to Sakagura street to visit all of the sake breweries. My only complaint is there’s only one elevator for the whole hotel so for events like the Saijo Sake Matsuri it takes a long time to get to and from your room, and the breakfast area becomes very crowded. they do have a washer and dryer which I used twice very convenient very efficient. The coffee maker was broken for two of the three days I stayed so that was a bummer. I wish they could’ve given everyone ¥200 to go to the 7-Eleven for coffee or just brew it in the kitchen!

Bad: they did not answer my (Japanese) message/request about feather allergy, and the refrigerator in the room was actually a freezer, which destroyed our local specialty we bought as presents.

Nice hotel, but smoking rooms smell

I liked everything about the hotel except that I had to stay in a smoking room, which was all that was available when I reserved. I assumed it wouldn't be a problem, but I was wrong. I suggest that the hotel group reassess its smoking policy.
