I had a great stay, which began at the front desk when Monica suggested I become a rewards member and completed my application for meand gave me a welcome pack, which included bottled water and snacks. I was then upgraded to a suite by front desk manager, Justin--I was so surprised and thrilled as i have never been upgraded by staff as a complimentary gesture in any hotel I've ever stayed at!!In addition to the great welcoming I encountered, i was directed to multiple restaurants in the area by Justin. My room was of average size but but the comfort made up for it 10 fold. My overall stay was amazing and i will definitely return again in the future.
It's about 15 miles off the major highway but it was the only one that would come up for Marriott points in the 10,000 range so we decided to stay here. The room was very clean, spacious. The outside has a little patio, pond and fountain and there were tons of little turtles swimming around in it. Starbucks is about 2.5 miles from there. Applebees is literally in the same lot. Walmart also was nearby. Great place to stay during a road trip. Reviewing this place so that I have it saved for future road trips to remember!
I was booked here by my client for a Friday and Saturday night business stay. There were a lot of vacationers traveling through the area, so the pool area was constantly busy with children having fun! When I checked in the front desk clerk was extremely helpful in putting me in a room away from the elevators on the 3rd floor so I would not have to deal with loud children and families coming and going. The lobby area and hallways were in great shape and did not appear worn or dirty. The room was nicely appointed. Almost everything was in great shape, i.e., linens, furniture, AC, flat-screen TV, good lighting, etc. The only flaw in the room was that the tub drained VERY slow. This is an easy fix. My pet peeve with hotels is the lack of accessible plugs since I travel a lot for business and need to plug in my devices and medical equipment I have to bring with me. This room provided a number of very accessible outlets! On Saturday when I was in a business meeting away from the property, my room was cleaned and when I returned I was very pleased with how thorough the housekeeping staff how done their jobs. My room was immaculate. I do not eat the "free" breakfast in hotels under a 4-star rating because the food usually isn't appetizing. The eggs are usually plastic-looking, the "meat" looks very suspiciously like it's supposed to be breakfast food, etc. On Saturday morning I walked through the dining and food area around 9:30AM just to see how it looked and my assessment was confirmed. The food area had been ravaged by families with children and looked even more unappealing. There is a Panera just 2 minutes away which got my breakfast business both mornings I was in town. Overall, this property is well-maintained and in great shape. The pool area looked clean and was well-used during my stay. I would definitely return to this hotel if I'm ever in the area.
The wife and I went to Hinesville Ga. for my granddaughter's all star softball tournament.Along with 10 other teams. Our reservations where at Fairfield Inn and Suites. We checked in Friday to Sunday, all the hotels in area close to ballpark were fully booked. As with any large group there will be snapfoos, the front office manager Justin Nethercutt addressed the issues himself in a prompt and professional manner. When him employees fail to show up he quickly made arrangements to correct concerns. As for our room, I feel the room rate was fair for king suite, it was clean well maintained and breakfast was not bad either. If traveling to Hinesville again, I will stay at Fairfield Inn.
I spent more than two weeks staying at this hotel while working on a tv production. The front desk staff were consistently cheerful, helpful and genuinely concerned with creating a good stay. The lobby and breakfast areas were clean and comfortable. Breakfast selections were standard fare - cereals, yogurt, eggs, sausage Room was pleasant, well furnished with a large work desk, easy chair, great tv, refrigerator, microwave and large bathroom. Exercise room was well equipped and clean. The pool and spa were in good condition and clean. The pool area could use some shade during the scorching summer months. The deck overlooking the pond was a nice touch. Also liked the patio behind the hotel. Business center was great for printing documents. One item that I feel could improve. The laundry room has one washer and one dryer. Given that this hotel stays heavily booked, it was often difficult to get access to a machine when needed. Wifi was excellent. Bottom line: one of the best-run motels in this category in my wide experience.
The Hotel was very clean and suited us well. The pool hours are not posted anywhere and we found them locking it up at 10pm when we were heading to it. The pictures posted here on Tripadvisor are not accurate. The indoor pool, basketball courts and many Gym pictures are of the local YMCA. This is deceiving when we were trying to choose our Hotel based on amenities.
Upon arrival I was given a room that didn't match my profile only to be told we try to get you that but it's not guaranteed. What? I asked why I checked in the day before at 8am if they don't assign rooms until people arrive. I never received notification my room was ready and it was after 4pm. I now know why. The gym was terrible. I'm pretty sure the elliptical was put together wrong as the arms were turned around and it only moved about 6 inches in each direction. The only other machine was a treadmill. The shining star was breakfast; hence, the two stars.
I absolutely love this hotel after just one visit! My family and I arrived very late and were all tired. Everything was smooth and convenient thanks to the night clerk, Stephanie! Thanks for a great stay! Will come again!
We came to watch a Roller Derby Competition. We always get a good room with Marriott properties. We had a nice room and breakfast was very good. There was an Applebee's restaurant that we could walk to for dinner. They gave a 10% discount to Fairfield Inn customers.
we were trying to find someplace reasonable priced for one night on our way from Charleston to Tallahassee, but not too far out of Charleston. This was the best I could do. Turned out the price was not only great, the breakfast was fantastic and the room was spotless. We stayed in 5 Fairfields in a week and this was far and away the best one. Next trip, we'll probably pace ourselves to overnight here.
