Take a stroll along the harbour to see all the beautiful yachts and boats. The Marina features Hilton Head Island's largest deep water yacht basin. Every conceivable water sport may be enjoyed here, from deep-sea fishing, inshore fishing charters and crabbing, to sail and powerboat rentals, to sightseeing and nature excursions, to dinner cruises. Shelter Cove is the center of many of the island's evening activities. Harbourfest is held from April through August, and has exhibits, vendors, entertainment, and loads of fun for the entire family. In the summer, enjoy Shannon Tanner, an island tradition for music and storytelling. The theatre and the island's only indoor shopping mall are only steps away. And the beach? For convenience, there are TWO grocery stores -- Kroger and Whole Foods -- in the Shelter Cove shopping area, and another -- The Fresh Market -- is just a bike ride away.
