Glad to have kitchen available and breakfast, liked how close it was to a quiet beach

Perfect place to stay near the airport and the beach.

Cute place, nice manager. Closer to a cottage/duplex than a hotel. We selected this place because we wanted a last minute place for one night in Hilo. Wanted to avoid driving back late to Kona. Affordable place to hold over.

Close to the beach. Clean room, convenient amenities. Friendly staff.

Only a couple hundred feet to a VERY "private" sandy beach! Directly on the mouth of Hilo bay with lava tide pools and sandy beaches safe for children and dogs to roam.

Really nice slice of Hilo lifestyle, lush gardens, close to both public and private beaches. Will definitely be back!

No staff available to assist. No shower curtain in bathroom and bed was uncomfortable. And worst of all, there was a rodent in the room. We left a day early and had to stay in another accommodation. Not impressed at all with this room.

I booked at the last moment, so when I needed to extend my stay past my reservation, they were not able to accommodate me. But they helped me to find a different place for the rest of my stay. Very friendly and accommodating. Probably the best and most comfortable bargain in Hilo.

A different (but good!) experience. Not a first-class hotel but pretty nice for the price. The common kitchen was great -- he even supplies some basic food items for you (fruit, eggs, milk, etc.). There was a covered eating area outside. We also got a chance to interact with others who were staying there. Room had good coffee, bottled water, bathroom amenities.

Warm and friendly staff. Generous, self-serve kitchen. Best feature is being footsteps away from public access to Chalk's Beach!
