Very impressed by a reasonable priced hotel. An updated, clean, comfortable room. Staff was courteous and friendly.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. The oatmeal had the consistency of soup. No raisins for oatmeal. Had to ask to get dark roast coffee refilled. No regular black tea bags. Shower is very nice, but no shelf to put a razor or shower gel, no shelf to put your foot to shave comfortably, no bar inside for wash cloth or nearby outside for towels. Poor remodel design for use.

High bed in accessible room

Why do hotels believe that beds need to be 3 feet off the floor. Especially in accessible rooms. My wife is 5 ft tall and has mobility issues. The bed in the accessible room was high enough that I had to assist her in getting in bed and out of bed. Accessible rooms should have beds low enough to let people with mobility issue get in/out by themselves. I will admit that this hotel has not been the only one that has this problem.

We had a great check-in person at the desk and she went out of her way to be accommodating given we needed a wheelchair accessible room. The area felt safe and there was a restaurant next door that made walking to dinner a good option. The downsides were a stained shower curtain that created the perception of uncleanliness, and bathroom sink plumbing that was hanging. I expected better from a Fairfield Inn.

Nice enough, not poor, not excellent. Bed was comfortable, other furniture wasn’t really comfortable. We were hard pressed to find appropriate storage spots for luggage for 2 people. Would be perfect for a single person. Our room was not serviced, even though we spoke directly to the housekeeping staff. Staff was friendly. We went off-site for breakfast.
