This was an excellent property for the location. We were able to walk into downtown which was only a block away. Ample room for four adults and three children.Garbage disposal needed attention, washer/dryer and dishwasher were very clean and worked well.It was convenient to have access to a garage. Batteries need to be replaced on a few of the door locks. Overall it was a great place for us to stay. Evenings were beautiful which made it enjoyable to use the deck.

Lookout Over Hill CityWe loved this spot — the location is unbeatable. There’s a little path right out the back door that takes you down the hill and drops you right onto Main Street (or it's a very short drive). There's a pizza place at the bottom of the hill, so we grabbed carry‑out and enjoyed it on the deck. And the deck… easily my favorite part of the stay. It’s a beautiful wraparound with wide views of Hill City and the surrounding hills. I enjoyed hanging on the deck and watching the 1880 train depart/arrive across the street.Inside, the photos don’t do it justice. The whole place was clean and welcoming. I had a last‑minute special request, and the host’s quick response was genuinely appreciated.Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Black Hills — Hill City is such a perfect, central home base for all the major attractions.
