Unfortunately the room smelled like smoke and there was lot of noise from the neighboring room.
No coffee at 5am....did not wait for 630 breakfast. And the noisy air conditioner keep me awake half the night.
The “breakfast” area was terrible. The coffee was so bitter tasting I had to pour it out. Two types of bagels to chose from and some kind of a muffin I couldn’t determine what that taste was.
This was an ok place to stay. There were no problems or issues. It could use a little update, but it was fine to sack out for a night and leave. I wish it wasn't quite so expensive, given what you're getting, but thanks to Uncle Joe, everything is expensive!

2nd floor room was nearly at the end of the corridor....a long walk with the valet cart. Restaurants were not close by, requiring a 4 to 5 mile drive over high speed highways to reach, very harrowing at night when you are in unfamiliar area.
I had always had a high opinion of Microtel facilities but this one came up short in many areas
I booked this room for my parents who were traveling to visit us. It was paid via my credit card. When my parents arrived, they showed the staff member the itinerary confirmation from Orbitz for their room. They were told my card was only to hold the room and required them to use their own credit card for the charge. When I checked my account, I had been charged, which is custom when I book via Orbitz. So, the hotel was paid twice for the room. When I attempted to contact the hotel, I was told the staff member had no way of refunding either my parents, nor myself. The manager was aware of the situation (my parents left a message for her), but, obviously chose not to bother herself with our problem. Thankfully, when I contacted Orbitz, the Orbitz representative took care of the problem and refunded my card. Be very careful when paying for a room at this hotel, my suspicion is this is not the first time they have done this!
The cleanliness and room size was amazing and for such a cheap price too!! Will definitely come back in the future.. The one down side is that there web page says breakfast still but there was none that I seen

The people were fine but the property looked like it was just barely hanging on cutting expenses anywhere possible. The lobby and hallways smelled strongly. The room was 85 degrees when we arrived and the windows was open. It took quite a while to get the temperature down. This is a case of getting what you paid for- maybe.
