The lobby/dining area was noisy around the clock, due to a big pedestal fan running on high speed in the corner of the lobby. A high whining noise like a jet engine that made conversation difficult. This was the case the previous two times I’ve stayed here (both in the last 5 years). I assumed on those previous visits that the fan was addressing wet carpeting or flying insects, though neither was in evidence. Well, this is the 3rd visit. I asked the person in duty if he could turn it off while I ate my breakfast, and he did, though grudgingly. But he turned it back on the moment. I left the dining area and it remained running each time I passed through after that. So I am left to assume that, for whatever reason, management at this hotel thinks the place needs to be noisy all the time. I won’t be staying here again. Peace and quiet are not negotiable for me when choosing a place to rest.

For the price, this was excellent

The hotel is dated, but the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, there was a nice (hot) standard breakfast, the indoor pool (while not a heated pool) was fantastic (and the hot tub was great too). Besides being dated, the only other down side of the hotel was we could hear the noise of Interstate 135 constantly from our room. Not sure if it's like that in the rooms that are across the hallway, but our room was on the interstate side and you could hear it.

The property was clean and could easily find. It is a pretty old hotel and shows its wear and beds not super comfortable. Staff not overly kind. It was nice that there is a mexican restaurant within just a couple steps of hotel.

One would think, customer service delivery should be a standard when staying at a hotel as it is a service industry. It is a top expectation that is a decision that makes a consumer/ customer come again. There was no customer service at this hotel. The evening employee had no level of customer service delivery. He was so unwelcoming, demeaning and unfriendly. Poorly done, and unremarkable unforgettable. It is sad to see that kindness and a smile makes such a difference but this employee could not find it in his bone to deliver on this!

The hotel is right next to the highway, restaurant next to the hotel but it was closed when I was there. There is a free breakfast, but it was the most basic one on our road trip. Beds were comfortable. No hair conditioner in room. The parking lot was completely covered in ice and there was no attempt to make a safe path from the cars to the entrance. If you just want a convenient, basic hotel this would do. If you're hoping for a nicer experience, I'd keep looking.
