The property is a little out dated but the location is excellent. You need to go grocery shopping and stock up the fridge and pantry with your essential items as eating out for every meal will cost you an arm and a leg. Don’t expect room service as these are units that you lease. We had the corner room overlooking the marina and the beach. Great spot to go swimming, fishing and all the tours and activities are walkable distance. The pool was lovely and a favourite of the kids. I personally enjoyed the fishing off the rocks in front of the marina and the locals are all extremely friendly and happy to have a chat. Definitely going back.

Overall very good value for money. One problem with parking when an entitled person who was visiting took my spot. The person she was visiting entertained a lot - late at night. Didn’t enjoy listening to her loud opinions. I think I was just unlucky with that. Break free was great and staff bent over backwards to support me. I would happily stay there again. Loved being right on the beach. Thanks Break Free!

Absolutely stunning sea view from our apartment. Very clean and tidy but very, very tired. Really needs to be repainted and bought up to date. No settee in the living room just individual wooden Ikea chairs. I loke to sit next to my partner not 3 foot away from him. Glass in the shower had glass cancer and a hole in the door thst had been filled in and the bottom of the bathroom door was falling apart. Apart from that, the apartment was situated in a great place, close to the marina complex. Was quiet and tidy.

Great location on the water. Walking distance to the marina and some cafes. Functionally the apartment was spot on (3 bdrm, 2bthrm, kitchen, laundry) and mostly clean. Apartment is dated but met our needs.

The property has an excellent location near the beach and the docks where most of the whale watching tours begin. The property is oldrr but our flat wss well renovated and had great views but being next to the boats was occasionally a little noisy. The property management was helpful, but the main issue seems to be housekeeping. In a nineteen day stay we had two cleans. They also seemed to not refill certain things. As a sufferer of dust mite allergies, I found the flat too dirty.

Very disappointed that there was no Wifi available as we were not informed when booking - we could have made other arrangements or not booked at all if we had known in advance. Not sure there is any other similar accommodation in Australia which does not have wifi so a shock! Did learn to use our mobiles as a hot spot so some sort of positive learning.

Absolutely loved it

We had the most wonderful stay. Our room was on the ground floor facing the beach, about 50 metres from the pool. The view from our unit was to die for. Waking up and jumping in the ocean or pool was such a luxury. The location was amazing - walking distance to everything we wanted - aquarium, markets, boat club and a quick drive to the botanical gardens and waterpark. We’ve already decided we’ll be back annually and we want the same unit! The spa bath was also beautiful, and second toilet was convenient. Only downfall was no wi-fi, although not a huge issue as we were having too much fun during the day. It would just be nice to watch a movie at night. Phone reception was poor, so hotspotting was not an option.

We started in room 169. This room should be condemned, it had mould, it smelled, the carpet was old and dirty, and the furniture looked like it had gone through a flood. The whole unit was old and in need of a refurbishment. We complained and were immediately moved to a suite, unit 130. Much better, but to think this room leases for $504 per night is so overpriced. I would not pay more than $150 per night to stay at this complex.

The property is in a great location with beautiful ocean views. The room was dated and ceiling needed cleaning from dust but overall a comfortable stay. The lap pool was lovely.
