Excellent location on the esplanade
The apartment was clean and tidy.. The main bedroom and ensuite were very spacious. The second bedroom was small and barely adequate for 2 adults. The shower over the bath in the main bathroom was an issue for one of the guests. The dining chairs were uncomfortable. I recommend an upgrade to the furniture in the living areas.

Disappointed at first sight.
We booked this property based on photos showing a clean, well-maintained home with a sparkling blue pool. However, upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to find the place rundown and outdated. The pool green, filthy, and unusable. It was such a letdown that we didn’t even enter the property — we returned the keys immediately and messaged the host, but received no response.As it was Easter Monday, we were left scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which was both stressful and expensive. When we requested a refund, the real estate agent initially claimed it was “our “choice” not to stay. After pushing back, the owner reluctantly agreed to refund only half.This experience has completely soured our impression of Hervey Bay. Misleading listing, poor communication, and zero accountability. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this property or Hervey Bay. Bit of a dodgy area. Not appealing at all.
