Modern clean walking to center city and port and museums. Helpful staff
Very disrespectful staff! The few things we called for the staff would have a smart mouth, for no reason. Was very uncomfortable to be there. I visit greece every summer and stayed at 5 different hotels, the other 4 were amazing, here was horrible
Excellent all the way around...Particularly since we for a really bad one in Rome right after!
Average hotel that is all about location. Walking distance to port makes this hotel attractive.
I really enjoyed staying here. It was located right in the heart of Heraklion making it super easy to walk around. They provided free parking for my vehicle during my stay and also held onto my luggage after checkout before leaving the city. Everyone was very nice and the room was nice.
This family run hotel is very charming and the reception is very useful and answer to your request very quickly and nicely. Hotel is well located, beside the port, main touristic street and close to the bus station A if you want to visit Crete. We stay at the Lato Annex with view on the port. Airport is 10 min away and you can either tale a taxi or bus to go there. pity the fridge was so small we could not put ice cream in the freezer.
Very accommodating, missed my connections to get to Crete. They gave gave me my room for the next day with early check in , no extra charges!
The Lato was very convenient to both the port and the central bus station, perfect for our overnight stay arriving on a later ferry and traveling on the next day after spending the morning at Knossos. The hotel was stylish and comfortable and provided excellent service, allowing us to store our bags while at Knossos. The included breakfast buffet is the best I've seen outside a cruise or 5-star all-inclusive resort. The in hotel restaurant also provided a convenient and tasty meal.
Hotel staff was very helpful. I ended up getting sick during the trip and they sent someone to get medicine since all the pharmacies in the area were closed on Sunday and didn't charge us.
We stayed one night, to catch a ferry to Santorini at 8:20 the next morning. The location was great with a 9 minute walk to the ferry, as well as just a few minute walk from the town center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was particularly good, including a machine that squeezed fresh juice from oranges loaded into a metal tube. Finally, awaiting us in the (modest) room on arrival was a carafe of raki/ tsipouro and 2 shot glasses and a tray of pastries.
