At the center of the town. The best option if you want to stay in the center of the city. The room was very clean. They change sheets and towels every day. They offer you breakfasts earlier if you check out earlier than the breakfast time.

Nice hotel with easy access from the high way and near the port. We just had a night to spend before leaving the next morning. It was easy! The breakfast is very generous! We had the suite and had a very large room with a terrace and sea view!

Very nice hotel (actually the only good thing for our trip to heraklion), very close to city center. Clean room, functioning air conditioning, huge balcony but quite hard beds. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning, friendly staff.

We came to Heraklion to celebrate my Nieces destination wedding. We did not stay at the resort where the wedding took place but preferred to be in a more downscale type hotel which is close to the famous archeological museum and numerous bizantine churches and exhibitions. The hotel is clean and functional. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and were only to Willing to call taxis and help us find places on The map which is provided at the front desk. I would have no Hesitation in recommending this hotel and would certainly stay here again

Not quite like its pictures, but still clean and a nice location. Our room was a nonsmoking room that smelled like smoke. Other than that it was a nice stay. The staff was super nice too. The room service food was bleh. BUT you are a block away from amazing restuarants and shopping. It is perfect for the price and location.

We fll into this hotel each time we visit the island as we arrive too late to catch a bus and too tired to take a hire car. This hotel is on the edge of the tourist zone so is quiet but close ennough to reach everywhere. It has local colour (the odd- I mean odd! trade show or Sunday morning exams in English for local teens) which we love, a decent breakfast, a local taverna over the road and chearfull staff.

In Heraklion I enjoyed my stay at the moderately priced, modern, and comfortable Atrion Hotel, located only a couple of blocks from the waterfront, where locals and tourists stroll as evening approaches, and from the Historical Museum of Crete, which includes extensive exhibits about the Resistance during World War Two. To reach the great Heraklion Archaeological Museum near the city center, you can take a brief taxi ride or enjoy a ten- to fifteen-minute stroll, slightly uphill. The Atrion has its own restaurant, which was not yet open during my stay in mid-April, but I did enjoy the excellent daily buffet breakfast that was included in the price of the room. The friendly, knowledgeable, multilingual staff can answer most tourists’ questions with aplomb. I am traveling a lot around the world and I have never experienced this hotel service! Amazing staff and very helpful. The hotel has changed the kitchen staff and all food quality is perfect. Food variety at the dinner buffet varies depending the day.The food is perfect and the service amazing. Each night they have a different event. The facilities are much more than a 3 star hotel.I would definetely reccommended!

Just one night in this hotel was enough to appreciate what higher quality accommodation is like. Impeccably clean and furnished (no odd smells), soft, thick carpets and newly refurbished bathrooms. Very quiet despite being in a central location. Great service - very friendly and professional staff at reception. Extremely quick check-in and check-out. A wide variety of items on the room service menu - very tasty and large servings. Breakfast buffet was delicious - lots of choice and a comfortable atmosphere.

the breakfast is good. we had a problem with our bathroom as soon as we got there and they moved us to another room, with same aspects. next to the port and to walk around the city centre. The annoying part is the cab company that they call.. We were going to Chania from there, and the drivers were trying to push us to take us there, and charge us 200 euro, saying that it was cheaper than the bus and we would be there in 2h, and by bus in 4, 5! we were in 7 persons, and by bus + cab in chania, it wasn't even 100 euros.. and like 2 hours. I know this is related to the cab company, but I think that the hotel should only contact people that are not trying to steal from the guests.. this is quite annoying.. :/
