Radisson Blu Hotel, Espoo

I have spend several nights at this hotel due to business in the neighborhood, and I am always happy with the hotel. They were still on vacation time 3-5 January so breakfast was not until 0730 in the morning. A bit late for those of us who are not on vacation. But the selection was good.

We stayed one night starting on Boxing Day, 2017. The purpose of this visit was just to have a peaceful sleeping place close to our relatives' home. Our main programme was a family dinner outside the hotel. But, it is always nice to be friendly welcomed by the receptionist at the arrival and for the breakfast of the following morning. The breakfast was also exceptionally good with many alternative types of food. The hotel had a face lift renovation on the outside in progress. However, it was properly informed both on the net page and apologised on the signs at the entrance and in the lobby. Radisson Blu, Espoo is a nice place to stay, especially in the summer.

Visiting the hotel at quite a low season in Finland. Sure, it is a different time, especially if there is early X-mas but no snow but rain! The hotel is in reconstruction of the front-entrance area. Most of the services still at good operation, however, visiting the hotel's restaurant, it is a bit in off-season too, the selection is pretty limited, and probably you will not find the best value-quality options. So, I cannot suggest any dishes at the menu in mid-Dec 2017 as my favourite! But you'll survive! Welcome!

Staff is very friendly, close to the businesses I needed to visit. Dining is very limited, but quality is good. Due to construction works at the hotel sleeping in will be hard; there is some noise overhead.

The hotel is nice and practically located near Aalto university, but unfortunately their central air system produces lots of noise even when the a/c and heating are off. I am usually not sensitive to noise and I have never slept worse, not even in hotels of fewer stars and that cost half the price. For this price one would not expect this noise pollution. The staff is friendly and hand hands you earplugs, but they only help so much! I am sorry to be leaving this here, but I want other travelers to be aware!

Generally good hotel to stay! Hospitality was good. Breakfast good! Bed and furniture were also good. Close to aalto university. access to metro. Generally it was good for our visit. everything was available.

Stayed with my 16yr old son for the weekend in a twin room. Beds were comfortable and roomy. TV channels were limited and unable to access BBC or CNN but a minor niggle. Shower pressure was good. Air conditioning was slightly difficult to control making room a little too warm but that was probably our fault. Bar & restaurant was expensive but everywhere in Finland was expensive so no complaints. My son used the pool and sauna and was pleased with both. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, we would certainly recommend and return again. Thank you Radisson

The staff in this hotel especially a restaurant where exceptional always willing to give advise on the menu and a very pleasant demeanor. The room was clean and very spacious with a magnificent view over the lake. the only downside and I put this down to construction work was the foul smell that appeared in the bathroom every so often but as i said construction was ongoing.

This hotel was very convenient located at Espoo in walking distance to all main businesses in the area. Having nice, Scandinavian style rooms, this hotel leaves good memories due to the really good food and breakfast. The place has a great view on a quiet area, allowing to relax and recover from a long day. Sadly the hotel is located in an area where in fall there is little to do - except you take a taxi downtown (which is not too expensive). Internet is fast and stable.

Drove to the hotel to realize that they were renovating. In front of the hotel there were fences etc., hence less parking space. Personnel was friendly. Room and building felt worn and old. You could not see out of the room window because of plastic outside the window. Basicly this was room without a window. Room had iron, but not the ironing board. Personnel was fast to bring me one (took only 2 mins.). Room was quiet and warm+ Breakfast was ok.
