Radisson Blu Hotel, Espoo

I stay at a lot of hotels and normally Radisson is a decent (not good but decent) choice. Espoo is the same. Small rooms, but clean rooms. Service is decent, ofte too few people in the reception meaning too long time for check in or check out. No good. The restaurant is ok for breakfast, but dinner really sucs, it is overpriced, lousy quality, not well prepared. If you want to serve raindeer do it as a quality meal, not overcooked with boring and not fresh sidedishes. And earlier I have tasted a burger with No success also. So!!!!!!!' *** for the hotel *** for breakfast ** for dinner

Standard facilities in a Radisson Blu chain hotel, well equipped room (bed, toilet) but with little space to store your personal things, excellent breakfast in variety and quality, the surrounding a bit messy due to ongoing building activities, access by public transportation not so easy.

The hotel is clearly not central for Helsinki, but convenient if you have business in the area. The rooms are no-frills Nordic style, but clean and spacious enough: I was only irritated by one hanging lamp over the table I kept banging my head against. Good functional bathroom, reliable wi-fi. Friendly front desk at check-in and check-out, queries answered promptly despite limited number of staff in attendance. Very good breakfast (which is called Super Breakfast on the reservation voucher), with plenty of choice, and an innovative use of an iPad to control the drinks dispenser. At 120€ per night, this is about right.

PROS This is a nice 3 star hotel in a very nice location, by a branch of the sea, with nice trails to walk or ride bike available for free at hotel. Nice breakfast. Nice atmosphere. Nice beds. CONS: far from downtown Helsinki or Congress Center

when arriving at 23:30 in a hotel, you don't expect much (well, I don't out of experience). Svetlana, the lady on duty that night, certainly thinks differently: a heartwarming smile to welcome you kicked it off. Then she rallied to find me an iron board that was misisng on my room. Downstairs again she kept her smile while serving some overloudly conference members and a couple who clearly believed they were visiting one of France's mighty wineyards. Svetlana... outstanding service! Oh.. and by the way... the rooms: spacious, spotless, the lot! Breakfast: everything you can wish for, and you can enjoy eating it in the midsummer sun on the terrace. Location: right across a fabulous lake. Outstanding for some hiking/jogging.

The hotel is very good, more or less conveniently located. The staff are polite and helpful. WiFi works OK, the rooms are nice, as well as shower, pillows and the breakfast. The only thing I found a bit strange is orange peel under my bed, probably just hanging there for some days. Maybe the cleaning personnel should take a little bit more effort and clean underneath the beds. Anyway, not a big things as general hygiene was very good.

I find the Radisson in Espoo always the place to stay when in Finland, it ticks all the boxes for me as a business traveller. Rooms are spacious and contents are excellent. Its quiet and the bed is comfortable. Wifi is perfect for business needs. Meals are great and cater for allergies. Taxi takes less than 5 minutes to arrive when ordered. Overall experience is excellent.

Excellent staff, perfect rooms, peaceful and scenic location. I am just flattered by the hospitality! Three cheers to you! I will always prefer to stay here and highly recommend it .Thank you for making my stay GREAT!

If you are in the area for business, this is a great hotel to stay (and it was good weather when I stayed here ). Friendly and helpful staff, nice environment to walk & relax in the evening. Great choice of breakfast

The hotel has excellent surroundings with a lot of greenery and water. Nice breakfast options available. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are superb. The hotel is ideal if you have business visits in Espoo. Even though it is far away from city center, there is plenty of public transports
