Best town house property on the Chattahoochee River and just a short walk to downtown Helen.

We are located on the Chattahoochee River and just a very short walk from everything Helen has to offer. This cozy, fully equipped, town house has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and is right on top of a lazy flowing river with tall shady trees and private access to the Chattahoochee River. Fishing, tubing, wading in the water and enjoy the soothing sounds of the river are just a few of the joys of this vacation rental that will make a lifetime of memories. Walk to the shops, restaurants and much more. Take a horse drawn carriage ride, take a wine tour, pan for gold, fish, hike or any of the many more activities available. After a long day of playing hard and sight seeing you'll love your hot tub on the upper deck over looking the river (our hot tub is drained and refilled between each visit). Just close your eyes right now and imagine yourself soaking in the hot tub with a glass of wine listening to the sounds of the river.

We offer a nearly full stocked kitchen, you just need to bring the food. The dining and living room are on the main (Mid) level of the home with a large deck off the back complete with a grill and dining area featuring a pub height firepit table that overlooks the river. Each of the upstairs bedrooms have their own full bath and TV. The master bedroom has a private fireplace and door that opens to the deck with the hot tub overlooking the river.

Did not get in the hot tub. I think the kitchen cookware could be updated, but the rest of the kitchen was fine. Couch was comfortable, and I liked the back porch with the fire pit table.

Good location, right on the river and walkable to downtown. Easy to access and park underneath the townhouse. Couldn’t hear neighbors so walls not too thin. Fireplace wasn’t in working order at the time if that’s something you are set on. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Would stay here again.

The cabin is clean, comfortable, & nicely situated along the river, but our stay was overshadowed by an unusable hot tub - the main reason we booked the unit. Despite prompt troubleshooting & communication with the owner, the hot tub remained unusable for most of our stay, and the owner’s response & handling of the situation were disappointing.We stayed over Halloween weekend that included a winery, hiking, exploring Helen, and relaxing in the hot tub. When we returned from our hike Saturday 3 pm, the water was 56F and the unit had no power. I discovered the fuse in the circuit breaker had been inserted upside down, preventing power to the tub. Once corrected, it powered on immediately. I called the owner at 3:08 pm; he apologized and said it might take 4–6 hours to heat. It finally reached 100F after 10 pm, making it unusable during the day.Before bed I found the power and jet buttons did not work, causing the jets to run continuously. I shut off the circuit to prevent damage and informed the owner before checkout. I requested a 20% refund (low end of typical 20–35% credits for unavailable KEY amenities). The owner offered 75 and implied we should have checked earlier, though the issue stemmed from the upside-down fuse which is clear evidence the cleaner did not properly prep the hot tub for our visit. I declined, as he disappointedly placed responsibility on us rather than the cleaner or setup error. Lovely cabin, but poor accountability will keep us from returning.

Awesome location, right on the river and less than a mile walk to the heart of Helen. If you like tubing, it is right next to the tubing company. The house is beautiful and furnishings match the wine theme. It was great to sit on the back deck and listen to the river at night. We had one, minor issue when we arrived and the owner was very responsive and got it fixed quickly. I hope to stay here again soon.
