Noisy
Quaint downtown.
It was clean and nice for a decent price…
Bathroom was tiny like very tiny But overall it serves its use Decent place.
Nice swimming pool. Clean well appointed rooms. Good selection cable channels. Friendly staff. Has nice Mexican Restaurant on property with delicious frozen margaritas. Reasonably priced.
Craphole. Should be condemned . missing light bulbs and broken walls and outlets. Should only cost 30 dollars tops.
Room was positioned on top of loud Mexican restaurant and listened to kitchen noise, dishes being slammed around for a while. Only window in room looked at hallway. Bathroom was so tiny had to fold the mat to lay it on floor. Shower head was belly button high and had to fold into awkward positions to wash hair... almost drowned. Walls were paper thin and heard the results of someone else visiting the aforementioned Mexican restaurant from two rooms away. For what I spent on this room I was really expecting much, much more.
I wouldn't stay again unless it is a last resort near emergency
The Days Inn in Clayton was just right for me in terms of location, and I was indeed looking for an economical option. However, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness, mainly involving towels and bed linens. The rooms need to be revamped with simple things, such as new carpet, new furniture and they most definitely need new curtains so that one can choose natural light without being seen from the outside. The colors of the paint on the walls are hideous as well. The key thing would be to step up cleaning efforts and ensure that towels and bed linens are clean and replenished more frequently.
it is a nice place. you can go to downtown by foot. room is comfortable. Good rate quality/price
nice stay clean rooms and nice pool had a good time will stay there again
The hotel is ok. Big and spacious. The refrigerator and microwave are useful
It smelled and the door wouldn't open unless you jiggled it multiple times. There was no iron and the cleaning people spoke zero English so they were no help. They started to knock on the door to clean at 9:15 am when checkout was at 11am. I will not be going back.
Person @ check in counter was rude.and basically same attitude at check witb a different person. The pool was tiny We had lunch. @dillard.house..flea markets,.antiqueing, I wouldn't stay here again
Stayed at Clayton Days Inn for 1 night during an out of town job. Was a good value, Mexican restaurant next door was good. Hotel was budget friendly but don't think I would choose for a vacation stay. It worked for what we needed it for, just old and dated but fairly clean and comfortable.
The rooms are run down, I reserved a king-sized bed and was told when I checked in the room had a king-sized bed, it was not. The a/c never got the room cold. the fridge didn't get cold, I wasn't able to use the wifi in the room, only in the motel office, the breakfact was less than mediocre. But other than that, the room was clean, the water was hot and the pressure was nice.
The room was comfortable, all facilities present. One of the lamps didn't work, and the drink machine outside was empty, but other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
The check-in lady seemed disappointed that I had gotten a discounted room . She assigned us the room closest to the noisy street, and explained that the arrangements were pre-paid. We ran the room heater to hide the noise. She changed room description. This was our 45th anniversary, so wanted to focus on the positives. The "owner" was nice enough, and a bit helpful. Have used this motel for years, but the check-in lady only twice, and hopefully no more. Other staff are fine, esp.housekeepers.Thanks .
