Country Charm D – Cozy Pet Friendly Cabin in Helen

Close to town, but away from the noise sits Country Charm D, one of the four Country Charm cabins.

This cozy wood cabin has a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and a king bed in the open loft. The downstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. On those chilly nights, or long days spend your time soaking in the cabin's indoor jetted garden tub. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs and WiFi.

The road from the cabin leads right into town to all the shops and restaurants. After a fun filled day of activities in and around town, you can sit and relax on the large front porch while watching the sun go down. Come experience Helen while staying in this cozy country cabin.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Country Charm D is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved for 1/4 of a mile from Main Street and then turns to dirt and gravel.

It was good

Loved the location. Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper, so we bought some. Also, the couch is very broke down which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in. There is only one other chair besides the couch, so it really should be ready replaced.

Just Right Pet Friendly

Great little cabin not far from downtown. Easy to get to and had the basics of what needed. Longer stays of more than 2 people and plan to make meals may want to bing a few other kitchen items or paper plates/utensils. Dogs loved it and the porch with the gate was awesome.

Amazing cuuzzy cabin in a great location

This cabin was just perfect. The location is a super plus! Away from the town but close enough to walk to it. The only thing I would recommend is to replace the sofa since is worn out. But overall is a great cabin.

The accommodations were great as well as the location. The only suggestion would be to replace the couch. You sink down in it, but we were able to help each other out of it. We would definitely stay there again.

Excess amounts of pet hair

There was just an amazing amount of pet hair throughout the house which made it a challenge to stay there. But decided to purchase cleaning products to clean and disinfect the house as well due to the smell. The owner did offer us a refund to relocate but we weren't about to fine one.

This property is exactly as pictured and more than met our expectations! We would 100% come back!

Beautiful cabin that allows you to feel “in the woods” while being quite close to town. At the age of 42 and 55 we had no trouble with the easy walk. We loved the peacefulness of the cabin. A great place to relax and getaway for a bit. Helen of course is beautiful as always. We will most definetly stay at this property again!!

Great cabin

Great place to stay! Good location. Wi-Fi was very helpful because otherwise you can’t get calls or text during Octoberfest. There isn’t a bathroom fan so it gets very humid after showers. Also the lighting in the cabin is somewhat dim even with the lamps. Maybe different type of bulbs would help brighten the room. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Loved that it was not far from town and could go back to cabin and not have to hear all the happenings in town. Just a few things that need to be addressed, one side of the stair railing is rotten and is about to completely break and only half a roll of toilet paper was in bathroom.

Great little cabin

This was a great little find!! I've been coming to Helen for years and never knew this place existed. I stayed with my dog and we had a great time. I had to leave a day earlier due to some personal issues but I'd definitely stay here again with the family.

Great time to unplug

Good place to unplug with dogs and kids. Basic cabin- nothing fancy. Coffee maker was broken but property manager quickly brought a new coffee maker. Close to town and hiking trails. Would stay again. Recommend replacing some of the bed pillows.
