It’s the perfect river cabin to stay at. It’s older home so layout is awkward but it has been renovated and was nice and clean and perfect for our trip. Nice open dining/kitchen and living areas!! Host is AMAZING! She is so responsive and so helpful. We will definitely be back to stay!!

Unfortunately the pictures online look much nicer than this place is. It isn't meticulously redone. It's a DIY special and an electrical nightmare. It was not as described, and the word I would use is "ghetto". The price was about that of a hotel room, so I don't know why I expected more, but the reviews and pictures were definitely deceiving. We stayed one night so it was acceptable for a quick night, but I wouldn't stay again. The shower doesn't drain, the shower head looks jimmy rigged and like it could fall off. There is water damage to the walls, wallpaper is peeling off the walls. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the condition of the place overall. The host did respond quickly.

Rachael left us detailed instructions that were so helpful in making our stay smooth and easy. Once we set up the extra bed, there was plenty of room for our little family to sleep. We appreciated the snacks and coffee and the abundance of clean towels and sheets. Beautiful view of the Potomac river, which we enjoyed no end.

I booked this and Racheal warned me she was on the West Virginia side of the river... I hoped I would find a bridge across near her place but I didn't (I'm riding a bike across America). Her communication was impeccable! I only wish I could have stayed! Maybe next time!

We were all impressed with this little house. The host had done an amazing job with the space. It was so cute and nicely decorated and clean! Rachel is very welcoming and accommodating and we had no issues with any part of the process.

Easy access to Fort Fredrick

The property was charming, clean, and easy to access. It made my stay at Fort Fredrick State Park for the Market Fair very cost-effective, with clean, private accommodations to come home to at night. Well worth the price!

Very cozy house and I didn’t have to bring anything , the owners really supplied everything I needed and the dock was right there, looking to catch fish go left down the river and go early morning

Quick Quiet Getaway

My boyfriend and I wanted a nice quiet and relaxing getaway near Harpers Ferry. We came across this listing and were immediately drawn to it. There was a small hiccup with the door code, but Rachel responded quickly and we were in. Very cute place, for two.
