We really enjoyed the woodstove in the corner of the main living area. The refrigerator and cupboard were nicely stocked with condiments and spices. The woods were full of squirrels running around

The cabin is very clean and quiet. I certainly would recommend staying here. Communication was wonderful. My husband and I unfortunately, had to leave early due to our special needs. Daughter become an ill. I would return here.

Third Vacation at Simple Pleasures. Peace, Pools, and Serene Woods!

This is the third time that my partner and I have had a summer vacation at Simple Pleasure. We continue to deeply enjoy the house and area. The neighborhood is dense trees, rolling hills, beautiful, and quiet. We deeply enjoy the swimming pools and went swimming almost every day. The house is located about 25 minutes from both Berkeley Springs and Martinsburg and we enjoyed the unique downtown/old towns of both location. Additionally we enjoyed the abundant outdoors- trails and water are closeby. The house itself is just lovely- the three season room is a huge highlight for me, surrounded by windows on three sides. I also love filling the bird feeders and watching to see who comes to munch. The kitchen has everything that my partner and I need to cook. Finally, the communication from the property managers is quite kind, friendly, easy, and low-stress. They reply so quickly and I have never felt stress when contacting them. We will definitely be back!

Great little get away!

We really enjoyed our stay at Simple Pleasures! The cabin was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was one of the best equipped kitchens we’ve stayed in and we had everything we needed to make meals, snacks, and keep leftovers for our stay. The bathroom couldn’t have been cleaner, which we appreciated! The street is quiet but made for a nice place for a relaxing stroll with our dog. The area is great - we enjoyed the pool at The Woods golf course area and each morning took our family for a 2mile walk (scooter for our little one) through the golf course neighborhood. There was very little traffic on the neighborhood streets, so it was great place for our family to walk. The cabin is convenient to some great local places, Kings NY for pizza and the Eagle Diner. It’s also close to Martinsburg if you need Walmart/Target. We explored Berkeley Springs one day, as well. Overall, a nice relaxing few days away! We will definitely be back!

So Much Peace and Beauty here in the Woods!

This is the second time that my partner and I have come for a 6 day vacation at "Simple Pleasures" at the Woods in Hedgesville. We love the woods, the deck, the windows, the kitchen, the bird feeders, and the pools! I had easy and excellent communication with the Natalijia the property manager. We asked to buy extra pool passes and it was an easy transaction with all of the passes waiting upon our arrival. I have been staying in houses through services such as VRBO for years now and the kitchen is so thoughtfully stacked. Having tupperware containers for leftovers, plenty of seasonings, a fair amount of basic foods happened to be in available- it felt 'extra' thoughtful. We enjoy all aspects of the house and neighborhood. We enjoy the DVD collection-had fun watching movies every night and taking a break from NetFlix and streatming services. The bird populations here are wonderful. If you are a bird lover, you won't be disappointed! I know we will be back! Thank you for everything!

Cabin in WV

The cabin was clean and in a nice quiet area. The beds were VERY comfortable and the pools were great too! There are historical places to check out that are not too far, plus malls and outlets as well. JayDees was a hit for our family too! I think this rental would be great for couples or families.

Perfect Relaxation

My brother and I took our elderly parents to Simple Pleasures for their 53rd Anniversary. They had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again ❤️

Great place for R&R

A friend and I from different states met at Simple Pleasures for a short visit while our kids stayed with friends nearby. We spent most of the time relaxing and catching up. I especially enjoyed the king bed in the loft and the recliner by the window in the living room, and we also spent some time in the sun room. We LOVED the view--truly spectacular. The house was very clean and provided all that we needed and more. Definitely recommend for a small family or group looking for a cozy getaway.

Lovely property in great location

Such a lovely retreat in the woods! The hosts were very welcoming including a birthday card, balloon and decorations. We especially enjoyed the bird feeders stocked for our and the birds enjoyment. We would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

Great place and cabin out in the woods, with a bonus of being able to use the indoor pool/gym facilities. Well stocked and cozy during a cold winter weekend, with great views out.

Simple Fall Pleasures

Simple Pleasures cabin was just perfect for our family getaway. The 3-season room allowed us to connect with nature in the cooler hours, and the large deck with a great view and fire table brought us outdoors in the warmer hours. The kitchen was SO well appointed - we lacked for nothing. Thanks for being so thoughtful in preparing the cabin for guests! We'll be back!

Wonderful Experience

My family and I will stay in VRBO homes several times a year. This home, by far, was the cleanest house we have stayed in. In addition, the owners thought of every need. The house was well stocked with everyday essentials. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the deck and watching the family of deer pass through. The neighborhood was quiet but offered plenty for us to do. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
