I should have paid more attention. There is nowhere to fish from this property. No dock just a bottleneck bit of river that is way too fast to fish in. We couldn’t figure out if it was a renovated trailer or just an old house. Shower was crazy small. Random dogs coming up to the house (so much so there’s a note they’ll take your stuff from the porch). Grossly overpriced.

Great place. Not the newest, but has everything one would expect or want. Very comfortable. Very positive is the spacious and accessible riverside location - no floating dock. Made it much more appealing. Only downside was neighbor who must have bought a new leaf blower and spent three hours using it on one day of our stay. Otherwise, very great stay. Recommended.

A peaceful tranquil setting a step away from Lil Red River, quick drive to Cow Shoals. The cabin had all the comforts of home, clean, neat, nice furnishings. Very pleased and would return. Check Greer Dam schedule and watch as river rises over the shoals and then back down by morning. Fish were jumping out of the water the evening before we left when water not rising from the dam surge. Property manager answered questions quickly. Heber Springs Walmart 15 min away.

BEST PLACE EVER!!!

Everything was just as described. Very beautiful place and an awesome view. The screened in patio that overlooked the river was amazing! We spent alot of our time there. My daughters boyfriend proposed to her by the river as well this week so Lil Shangri-La will always hold some great memories for us. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

Access to the property was quick and easy. Great view of the river from the deck and the lawn below. Very comfortable and well-stocked. Owner/manager did not interrupt our stay (as has happened in other VRBO's we've used). Facilities were very comfortable and convenient. Only minor suggestions would be replacing the Q bed with a King and maybe adding a dishwasher.

Anniversary Trip

This was our third visit and as always we love it. The weather was perfect, flowing river with cool breezes was so calming and soothing. The beds are the most comfy of any Heber place we’ve stayed. Communication with property manager is always great. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect Cabin on the River

We loved our stay at the cabin- perfect spot right on the river. Cabin was super clean and plenty of supplies. The river and lawn were beautiful! We hope to come back sometime when the dam isn’t generating so much - water was very high and fast. Very relaxing trip for our family!!
