The location was so peaceful and serene. The cabin is on an inlet and the boaters were very quite. That was the only part we enjoyed.
We are coffee drinkers and the first thing I do when we get to a cabin, s make coffee. The coffee/pod maker was broken. The TV had no instructions on how to use it. At home, all we do is push a button, and it goes on. Talk into the remote and change channels. We pressed all kinds of buttons but it won't work. Good thing I brought my CD player.
Most cabin owners tell you how many square feet their cabins are. This one didn't. It's only 400 square feet. We were falling all over each other and the dog.
The sofa was very uncomfortable. The back of the cushions were sitting higher than the front. I felt like I would fall off. The bed had such a lump ion the front of it, you had to lift yourself over it to get into it.
The shower worked fine. The old stove worked fantastic. The refrigerator was dying. It would cycle and cycle over and over again all day and night. It never made a complete cycle.
The foundation was really scarry. Nothing looked very sturdy. The toilet was even sitting at an angle. I guess VRBO doesn't check for the safety of the cabins they handle. The stairs to the deck weren't even up to code.
My recommendation is, STAY AWAY!!!
