I liked the architecture, cleanliness and location. It was a reasonable price as well.
Beautiful room in a great location, but was baffled that management centrally controlled the AC and staff wasn't empowered to change it to accommodate guests preferences. Room was stifling hot at night and their solution was to offer up a fan and see if they could lower the temperature when the manager arrived the next day...after a hot and sleepless night I was happy to move on to the next spot.
Nice hotel close to eateries and beach. A truly gem in the Art Deco capital
Room was ok, but bed had a hard side/part, and bathroom was small. Shower was slick and hard to crawl up into with touchy temp control.
Came from the USA to shop, see the sights plus the beach. Had a wonderful time.
The hotel follows the rebuild theme of the 1930's. The rooms are modern with a touch of art deco. You can sense that they have tried to hold on to the theme even when you step into the elevator which is straight from the 30's and has 2 choices, up or down. Watch your step when you get off. For those of you on a long trip, they even have a laundry room for you to catch up on your clothes. The water pressure in the shower is amazing! The hotel itself is across the street from the beach. The restaurant downstairs, The Emporium was delightful.
Nice hotel. Not bad for the money. Needs aircon but overall thumbs up!
